I've never really saw her this close in person. She humorlessly smiled as I close the door.

Prente itong nakaupo sa gilid kung nasaan ang sofa set. I crossed my arms and raised a brow at her.

"What are you doing in my husband's office?"

She chuckled as if I uttered something funny. I admit that she look like one of the heiress featured in magazine wasting their time on ballet and horseback riding. I can recognize her bag, it is a limited edition international brand, her clothes also scream it.

"Oh, don't fool around. We both know why you both got married."

I gasped, shocked that she knew.

"Paano mo nalaman?"

Her brow shut up. "Simple. Ako dapat ang nasa posisyon mo. We were fine, we are getting along. Not until your stupid brother ruined everything."

Nagngitngit ang aking ngipin. My brother may not be the best but I do not let anyone disrespect my family.

"Why you?!" I was about to slap her ngunit itinaas nito ang kamay.

"Asal kalye, social climber," she shooked her head. "Hindi ko maintindihan si Rhyno kung bakit siya pumayag kay Alfaust. You are a walking humiliation, from your scandals to your foul attitude. Walang class."

It was the very first time that someone question my class. I am not a social climber!

"At ano ang tawag mo ngayon sa sarili mo? Chasing someone na may asawa na, in short.....willing maging kabit." Pambawi ko.

I saw how she lose her posture. I grinned.

"Kasal lang kayo sa papel. How dare-"

I cut her off. "Kahit na. Asawa parin ako. Pinakasalan at ibinahay. What about you? Mananatili ka nalang diyan, mabubulok sa kakahintay sa asawa ko."

Tumayo ito at nag-aapoy ang mata sa galit.

I will never let anyone bring me down. Lalaban ako kahit alam kong totoo ang mga sinasabi niya. Sooner or later, this agreement with Rhyno will end but I will make sure that I am not ending it losing with this bitch.

"Rhyno is mine from the very start!" She shouted at pointed at me. "Kami ang ipinangako sa isa't-isa simula bata palang!"

"Then why did he asked me for marriage instead of you?" I smirked when I saw her stunned unable to make a rebuttal.

She was about to come near me when a voice interrupted us.

"Because my son pity you. He would never stoop your level if it wasn't because of Alfaust."

Natigilan ako at napatingin sa ina ni Rhyno na nasa may pintuan ng comfort room. Hindi ko manlang napansin na nandito din siya.

"Madame Marquissa...."

She smiled devilishly and walked towards Audrey.

"That's right, call me madame. It disgusts me knowing that my son rushly married a scandalous woman, tainted and whore-like. But now, it all make sense." She held her sharp stare at me.

My fist balled. How lucky can I be to see them here.

"I know my son, he wouldn't do such reckless thing unless there's something wrong and my assumption was right. He married you because of his dear friend," She heaved a sigh. "Alfaust Dizon, he is nothing but a gambling addict, lazy spoiled brat na umaasa sa pera ng mga magulang niyo. Hindi na ako magtataka kung bakit naging desperado na ipakasal ka dahil hindi ka masustentuhan. He can't man enough to provide for her sister after losing your parents! Dinadamay niyo pa ang anak ko."
