Charn walked out of the martial arts school thinking about what he said to his husband, he blamed himself for falling back into the trap of his sharp tongue, he didn't really believe what he said about Thanthai deserving to suffer like that, but he also knew that saying such things, striking that painful note was the perfect strategy to get what he wanted.
"Charn! What a pleasing coincidence! May I offer you something to drink? Unless you want to go out with your husband, of course" Nawin exclaimed after running to the lawyer. The words he said were technically kind, but the guy's tone immediately uncovered his true intention. Charn was too smart not to notice something so obvious, but...
"Nawin! I'm so happy to see you again, it has been such a long time! I actually wanted to go out shopping, you could come with me and then we could have dinner together, do you like the idea?" Charn replied, confidently knowing the answer he was going to get.
"That's much more than what I actually hoped! Sure! Absolutely! Follow me, please, we can go with my car, and you will make me incredibly happy if you let me pay for what you want to buy, please, please!" Nawin begged him.
Charn looked around for a moment, he noticed Tinn shadow behind the window of the school and realized that his husband was clearly watching them. He smirked and then turned back to Nawin, who was almost on his knees waiting for his beloved lawyer to respond.
"I shouldn't take advantage of your generosity... but I think I can make an exception. Could you ask one of your workers to take my car back home? I don't trust the people in this part of the city" Charn asked in a tone between pleading and snobbish. Nawin couldn't resist, and immediately ordered his man to do as Charn asked.
"Where would you like to go first?" Nawin asked after he sat down on the driver seat. Charn told him the address of a shopping center that was known for being incredibly expensive, but Nawin couldn't know that the lawyer actually chose that one because it was the farthest destination, so that he could complain on the way.
"Have you changed the tattoo?"
"Yes, this time I checked online to make sure that it was spelled correctly" Nawin replied proudly.
"What a pity, that little mistake was so adorable... well, I guess it is gone, but at least our friendship is still as stable as it once was" Charn replied sighing.
"I'll change it back! It hurts as hell, but you know that I would do anything just to make you happy!" Nawin exclaimed, sometime turning to Charn, making the young lawyer fear for his safety, since the driver wasn't paying much attention to the road.
"No, Nawin, I must say this... I can't stand you suffering for me so much, my heart is in pain knowing that it will never be able to give you what you actually deserve, a pure soul loving you for who you are..." did Charn believe the word he was saying? Mostly not, but Charn surely liked to play with him and Nawin, especially his masochist side, enjoyed that painful game a little too much.
"I heard you're working for Kim Theerapanyakul" Nawin said after they conversed for a while.
"Repeat that name and I will smash what is left of your miserable heart, making you beg for mercy..." Charn responded.
"You know I would like that" Nawin said.
"Yeah, you're right..." Charn replied, realizing the mistake.
