Charn and Kim talked for almost an hour, the young lawyer reassured his client, the trial was already in action and it wasn't difficult for Charn to predict the outcome. Kim promised an even higher price in return for those services. After their meeting, Charn got back to the guest room, he realized how much time had passed and picked his phone from his pocket.

Tinn was sitting in the living room of Nawin's mansion, while the owner of the house was walking up and down the room, wondering when he would receive a call from the love of his life. Suddenly, the phone on the marble table started ringing, they both looked at it and saw a photo of Charn with "soulmate" written underneath, even though it was actually spelled incorrectly. Nawin immediately grabbed it and picked up the call.

"Hi my dear Charn, the love of your life is here" Nawin said.

"Which one?" Charn asked jokingly.

"Both of them. I was so eager to receive your call, I can't say the same for your husband, he just got on the sofa and waited like he didn't even care about it" Nawin replied pouting.

"Jokes aside, is he safe?"

"Yes, he's safe and healthy. My men told me that he got attacked at the entrance of your apartment, thank god I sent the best of the best, otherwise I don't think that your frail little husband could get out of it alive"

"Do I have to punch you like last time?" Tinn asked glaring at Nawin.

"Fine... he did it almost alone, but I must say that you really had a good idea asking me for help, it really looks like someone is targeting you. I suggest you finish this whole story with Kimhan as soon as possible" Nawin added.

"You're right, but I want to see through this, I still need to know for sure who caused Thanthai harm. I don't care if it was Kim or someone else, I will find it and make them pay"

"Charn, I barely recognize you anymore, this man you married really managed to change you" Nawin replied.

"Yeah, he changed me, but I still like expensive stuff, so you can buy me things whenever you want, your gifts are always welcome" Charn responded jokingly. At that moment, Tinn couldn't take it anymore, he grabbed the phone from Nawin's hand.

"How is it going there?" Tinn asked.

"Oh, Tinn, nice to hear you again. Everything's fine. I'm sure that I can get this case closed in just a matter of days"

"I hope you're right..."

After the phone call was over, Charn stayed in his room for a while, meditating his next move. The whole case was basically over for him, there wasn't anything else to uncover since he knew the truth, but then he finally thought about an element he didn't consider for too much time.

It was obvious that Kim had a crucial role in the elimination of the Yakuza in the country, but the actual question was, how did he do it? He surely didn't do that on his own. So many deaths and accidents would usually raise suspects, no matter how skillful you are at covering them. No, he needed someone to help him... someone untouchable.
