"Certainly...." You smiled nervously as Sebastian led you into a different room down the hallway away from Ciel.

"I know we got off on the wrong foot Miss.(Your last name) and I would really like to set things straight." Sebastian bowed.

"Why now Sebastian?" I glanced at him curiously, this was so out of character for him.

"Seeing you around the manor lately and how you run your business in the other realm has impressed me. You've blossomed into such a charming young lady." Sebastian commented. His words made you a little uncomfortable, whether it's because he said you've blossomed or just because your so unused to his kindness you didn't know.

"Thank you Sebastian. That means a lot to me."

"I know I have only a small amount of information prior to your home life, but from what I've heard your mother would be proud." My eyes glistened with tears as I quickly blinked them away from his words.

"Thank you." You smiled. It seemed so surreal having a heart to heart with Sebastian, you were used to getting cold distant stares not affection.

"Now to the matter at hand." Sebastian began. "Ciel."

"What about him Sebastian? I'm really not in the mood to discuss him." You rolled your eyes as the devil himself flashed across your mind.

"You still have feelings for him."

"No. Maybe." You spoke. "I don't know anymore, he clearly doesn't even see me as a friend, so I don't even know why I make the effort." You sighed. It was the truth though, it was like taking two steps forward then ten steps back with Ciel Phantomhive. "Plus he's engaged to Elizabeth."

"Only recently." Sebastian added.

"Mey-rin did mention that it was only after a day or two once I'd showed up that the engagement was back on." You nodded remembering the chat you'd had in the rose garden.

"May I explain a theory I have?" Sebastian asked.

"Go ahead."

"I believe it's a cover up. Ciel may be eighteen years of age but he has no experience of love. I believe Ciel thinks that marrying Elizabeth will distract him from his true feelings."

"And what are his true feelings?" You asked curiously.

"You."

"Nonsense." You scoffed, however the small voice in the back of your head was agreeing with Sebastian. "He belongs with Elizabeth. We've been through this before. He's a human I'm a grim reaper, it wouldn't work" You shook your head.

"There have been stories of humans and supernatural creatures being together." Sebastian stated brushing his shoulders down.

"This is Ciel Phantomhive we're talking about. The Queen's guard dog. He's supposed to protect London from me!" I argued.

"Have you forgotten I am a demon?" Sebastian smirked a little which made you laugh, something you haven't done in a long time. "Listen, Miss.(Your last name) are you willing to give up yet?"

"No." You blushed.

"Then I have a proposal." Sebastian smiled devilishly.

"Go on..." You smiled.
