You sat quietly in the carridge and thought about life before you arrived at the mannor and before you got that stupid letter. You were perfectly fine living with Grelle and Ronald with Madame Red occasionally popping in as she and Grelle were the cause of the 'Jack the Ripper' murders due to Madame Red's loss of her husband and unborn child and how she's unable to have a child again, performing abortions to selfish women had been the turning point and she flipped. Grelle saw an amazing opportunity and took it. To be honest it's fair play because he'll get William .T. Spears off our backs, (another Grim Reaper that's in charge of our area). You loved your life it wasn't normal which made it intriguing and at such a young age! You were so close to Ronald and Grelle spoilt you rotten with clothes galore! How you wish you could go back to your Reapers life with no secrets. You felt awful hiding it from Ciel but you had to. And the thing was.....you were falling for him. You mentally slapped yourself. You couldn't fall for Ciel! He's the Queens Guarddog with a demon butler and your a Grim Reaper! It just doesn't go!
"(Your name)?"
"Yes?" you replied.
"She's here go Sebastian." Ciel climbed in and sat opposite you. "Are you ok?"
"Perfectly fine," you looked out the window.
"So you already know the Undertaker?" Ciel asked.
You sighed a little "Yes I do, can we not talk about it?" you asked.
"Of course." He muttered. You continued to stare out the windows, well aware of Ciel's penetrating eyes upon your face.
Ciel's P.O. V
'She is beautiful' I thought. Full of mystery which irritates me so much but makes me want to learn more. Sebastian is now not keen of her ever since she visited her family, I understand that he's concerned. But how can a young girl so pure and beautiful be so mysterious and dark at the same time.
"We will be approaching the mannor soon," I spoke not taking my eyes off hers. She looked straight at me and smiled, then away again and frowned. It looked as if she was having an argument with herself.
(Your name)'s P.O. V
'Don't look in his eyes!' you mentally scolded yourself. The carridge came to a halt and Ciel climbed out offering his hand to you. You took it and climbed out, you expected Ciel to let go but he did not, he helped you up the stairs to the door and inside, you noticed Sebastian standing still and watching from the bottom staring at you. You put it to the back of your mind and focused on Ciel.
"Here, I wish to show you something." Ciel led you to his study once more and opened the door and shut it behind you. You watched him open the safe in the wall and pull out a black velvet box. You both met in the centre of the room and he lifted the lid.
"It was my mother's." he stared at it. You gasped.
"Ciel, it's beautiful! You must keep it safe!" You exclaimed eyeing the beautiful silver diamond encrusted bracelet before you.
"Good, because I'm giving it to you." he smiled taking your wrist and putting it on.
"Ciel I can't! How can you trust me with this responsibility? I don't even trust myself!"
"I trust you," he smiled looking into your eyes. "And I'm going to keep you safe." he gently took hold of your waist and pulled you towards him, before you could protest you found his lips were upon your own. You moved your lips in sync with his until you found the will power to stop and pull away.
"Thank you Ciel," you whispered.
"Your welcome," he kissed your cheek delicately. "(Your name), you should go and rest," he whispered in your ear. You nodded and slipped out of the room slightly baffled with what just happened. You went to your room and had a bath and changed into your night clothes. Half of you was happy the other half knew that this was wrong...you just didn't know what half to listen to yet....
