"Why did you ask for me (Your name)?" Horatio asked as he walked alongside you.
"Because you are the only member of the council I trust Horatio." You answered.
"You think the council are hiding something?"
"I know the council are hiding something." You corrected.
"But your the leader, why would they keep things from you?" Horatio asked.
"That's what I would like to know and whatever they're hiding they're keeping it from you too." You glanced to him.
"Because we're friends." Horatio nodded.
"Indeed. Whatever they're secret is they don't think they can trust you because we're so close." You explained.
"What about the senate? Do you think the Chancellor would know?"
"Please." You stifled a laugh "The Chancellors been after my affection since I met him when I was fifteen, they wouldn't tell him anything because they know he'll come running back to me."
"True." Horatio agreed.
"What do you mean true?" You laughed.
"If you will excuse me for my crudeness, he is an arse kisser." Horatio made a cross over his chest, which made you laugh.
"This is why I wanted you here," you smiled. Horatio was a great friend to you, four years ago when you first left to go to the Grim Reaper realm you'd bumped into Horatio there and instantly gelled. You were surprised of how many other younger reapers were about and there you didn't feel so alone, Horatio was also eighteen. Whenever you saw his bright emerald eyes and floppy brown hair it always made you feel safe.
"So what are you planning to say to Mr.Phantomhive?" Horatio asked as we had sight of the Mannor.
"Depends on the welcome we get," I smirked. "Just watch out for the butler."
"The butler?"
"He's a demon." You warned.
"Ah right." Horatio nodded. "Are you dressed nicely because of where we're going?" Horatio smirked at you.
"I'm dressed nicely because its the first time in four years I've been out of the realm," you glanced at him, then self consciously smoothed out your dark blue dress with black buttons and swirl patterns. The top half of your dress was mainly strapless but with some sort of strap hanging off the shoulders and your hair was in perfect ringlets just above the waist with half up half down and tied with a black bow.
"Forgive me," Horatio smiled.
"Anyway your one to talk, your wearing your finest suit." you smiled at him whilst grabbing a new section of your dress to hold to stop it dragging on the floor as you walked.
"You noticed eh?" Horatio smiled tightening his tie.
"I did indeed."
"We could have called a carriage you know," he glanced at you.
"I am aware." You smiled.
"You have your Scythe?" Horatio asked as he held out his hand as we reached the stairs.
"Of course." you replied, taking his hand as he led you up the stairs.
"I'll follow your lead." Horatio nodded smiling a little. You smiled at your friend and colleague one more time before using the knocker. The door swiftly opened revealing Sebastian who looked you up and down.
"Miss.(Your last name)."
"You remembered Sebastian." You nodded.
"You made quite an impact those years ago." He raised his eyebrows "Mr.Phantomhive is too busy at this current moment to attend to guests."
