Chapter 1

Chapter~1~I can't take it anymore..

Skyler's POV
I can't take it anymore...all these people in the orfanage are driving me CRAZY, I feel like I need to run and get out of here right now. So that's what I did. As soon as I bolted down the stairs, I ran to the front door but before I could open it my caretaker stopped me "what do you think you are doing?" She said stepping infront of me "just a walk....you know to get some fresh air" I said looking direct into her eyes "your not going anywhere...dinner is almost ready" she said stepping away from me and going the kitchen "you know...you can't keep me here forever...I will eventually run off again..and just go off to another family..and I will keep doing that until I'm free" I said starting to go towards the door. After I opened it I saw her running towards me, but I did not let her. I bolted down the stairs and ran across the street. I still saw her coming, so I continued running down a few blocks until I could not see her anymore. After I stopped for a while to catch my breath I continued walking until I got to a town close by. When I finally got to the town I saw a police car on the side of the road. So I attempted to run across the street but then HE saw me. As soon as I got across i saw flashing lights and I knew I was in big trouble. And there was no where else to go. Dang it. I just sat with my back against the wall until the police officer came up to me "Are you Skyler Olson?" He asked "yes sir" I said already getting up "come with me" he said motioning his hand for me to follow him to the car. When we got to the police station I got pictures taken and asked all sorts of questions. Really annoying questions that made me want to run out of the room. After I was released my social worker named Jake was sitting in the waiting room. "Hey.....what's up?" I said shyly "you know what" he said getting up and walking towards me "you have to stop this" Jake said grabbing my arm and pulling me out to the car. "What?..Jake I can't live like this for the rest of my life....what else am I suppose to do?" I said getting into the backseat of the car. "Well your gonna have to deal with it Skyler....I'm sorry that it turned out this way" he said putting the keys into the ignition. "Luckily I found you a new family or a new caregiver" he said pulling out of the parking lot of the police station. "Great" I said sarcastically. When we pulled into the driveway of my so called new family I got out of the car and waited till Jake was at the front door then I slowly walked up behind him. When the door opened it was a boy he had brown hair that was spiked and wore a white tank top that said "swag" and skinny jeans. "Hi..you must be Skyler" he said holding out his hand "hi" I said shyly still behind Jake but not bothering to shake the boys hand "Well...hopefully you like it here....but I have to go now have fun" Jake said stepping away and walking to his car "yeah...right" I said under my breath "you can come in you know" he said motioning his hand so that I could go in. So I did.

Hey guys! So how did you like the first chapter...I tried my best to make it longer but I wanted to wait till the next chapter for Skyler to meet everybody else and get situated..so I hope you guys liked it and I will make chapter 2 as soon as possible....bye
