Chapter~17~ Everything will be okay, I hope
Skyler's POV
It was like a movie. When its the dramatic part and they put it in slow motion to make it more dramatic. It was like that for me. I don't think Kian will make it. But I'm still hoping. Cody's fine he's talking to the police officer about what had happened. That Will guy was arrested for break in and attempting to do 1st degree murder. And me. Well I'm just as scared when that one time my dog ran off when I was little and I did not think he was gonna come back. But he did. After everyone left me and Cody drove to the hospital to see Kian. When I got in the room I ran to him and hugged him. "I'm so glad your okay" I said through his shirt. "Me too" he said as I got up. Cody came up behind me and smiled "thanks man" I heard Kian say "for what?" Cody asked "for saving my life...if it was not for you I would not be sitting here talking to you right now" "well.....you are the only person Skyler has in her life...ever since her parents died....and I don't think she wants to lose you too" Cody said now holding my hand. I smiled. Before we left to go home Jc came walking up to the door. "Hey!" I said walking up to him and giving him a hug. "Hi!" He replied "how is he?" "He's fine...they got the bullet out and they said he should just rest for right now" "okay...well I'm going to go talk to him....you guys should get home and get some rest" he said going into the room.
Jc's POV
I walked into the room and grabbed a chair and sat next to him. "Hi....nice for you to show up" he said sarcastically "I'm so sorry for not being there for you man" I said "Jc you don't have to apologize" Kian said adjusting himself on the bed. "How's Skyler?" I asked hoping for a good answer "she is fine....I think....you know how she is....I think she is more relieved then anything because I'm okay" "yeah" I replied
Cody's POV
We just got done watching a movie. Well mostly me because Skyler fell asleep on my lap in the middle of it. I turned off the TV and shook her a little bit. "Skyler?" I whispered. She opened her eyes then groaned. "Did you like the movie?" I asked "yeah...best movie ever!" She said starting to giggle. She got up and looked at me "you know I did not watch it don't you?" She asked sarcastically. "Kind of..." I replied. "I'm going to bed" she said getting up. But before she left she stopped and looked at me "you coming?" "Yeah...I'll be up there in a bit" After she went upstairs I texted Jc.

C: Skyler just went to bed....want to have a surprise party for Kian when he gets home tommorow?
Jc: sure yeah....I'll get the decorations tonight when I'm on my way home
