Chapter 7

Chapter~7~Is forgiveness ever a option?
Skyler's POV
Cody hasen't texted me all day. I don't think he will ever again. When I woke up I took a shower and put on my light ripped skinny jeans and my black crop top that said "fierce" and finally my black converse. When I walked into the kitchen I saw Kian eating a bowl of cereal at the kitchen table. When I walked over and sat next to him he looked up at me "what?" I asked "is Cody talking to you yet?" "Sadly....no" I said now looking at my phone wondering if I should text him or not "well....he'll talk to you when he's ready" he said smiling "yeah..but...I have work today and you know he works with me" I said putting my phone on the table and walking over to get some breakfast. "Trust me....you'll be fine" Kian said getting up and rinsing his bowl out and putting it into the sink. "Hopefully" I said under my breath. When Kian dropped me off I got out of the car and headed toward the door. When I got inside I saw Cody cleaning a table that was closer to the door. "Hey..." I said walking up to him "I'm sorry for last night... I was going to te-" "yeah yeah...you were cought off guard" he said walking away from me and started to clean another table. After work I was standing by the front doors waiting for Kian and Cody was sitting on a bench that was not too far away from me. When Kian came and picked me up I got into the car and looked at him "he's never going to talk to me" "let's just go home and eat and then we will deal with it" he said putting the keys into the ignition and drove out of the parking lot. When we got home I ran up stairs and tried calling Cody.
Call~
C: Hello?
S: Hey....I really need to talk to you..please don't hang up
C: What?
S: I'm sorry for not telling you and I really mean that....I was going to tell you I really was
C: you were?
S: yeah...will you please forgive me and we can just go back to being friends?....or even more?
C: Fine....and....what do you mean about even more?
S: umm.... nothing...you know what never mind can you come over?
C: yeah be there in a bit
S: okay...bye
C: bye
When I hung up I threw my phone on my bed and leaned up against the wall and mumbled "Did I seriously just say that"
Kian's POV
When I was in the middle of making dinner for everyone the doorbell rang. When I opened the door it was Cody "Hi...." I said scratching the back of my neck. "Hey....is Skyler home by any chance?" He said looking at me "umm.... yeah she is in her room...why?" I asked confused "because she invited me over....diden't she tell you that we made up?" He said confuzzled "no....but you can come in" I said opening the door more so that he could walk in "Skyler!" I yelled from the bottom of the stairs once we got inside "What?!?" She yelled from her room "Cody's here!" It took her a second but then I heard her door open and before I knew it she was at the bottom of the stairs smiling at Cody. "I'll let you guys be alone" I said walking back into the kitchen.
Cody's POV
"Hey" I said smiling "hi" she said walking up to me "Wanna go for a walk if its okay with Kian?" I asked "sure..." she said going over to the closet that was by the front door and reaching in for her purse. "Kian we're going for a walk!" She yelled as she opened the door "okay....no later then 10" Kian yelled from the kitchen "Whatever" she mumbled as she took my hand and we both walked outside.
