Chapter~10~New people new life
Skyler's POV
After Cody drove me home I went into the house. When I got into the kitchen I saw Kian holding an envelope in his hand and he looked concerned "what?" I asked "we need to talk...." he said already walking to the kitchen table and putting the envelope on the table. I walked over and sat down and looked at him "what's wrong Kian?" "I found this envelope on the front step and it had your name on it....when I went to go pick it up I saw a shadow...it was like a shape of a person.....I'm thinking that person *he put his fingers in quotations * was trying to drop the envelope off and disappear before I got to the door like he or she did not want to be seen" I looked at the envelope then at Kian. "Whats in the envelope?" Kian picked the envelope up and handed it to me "why don't you find out yourself" I took it from him and opened it up. It was a letter.
Dear Skyler,
This may be a bit of a surprise but I'm your sister. I'm sorry I was not there for you its just that when mom and dad died...
I stopped reading and looked up. I thought to myself. Mom and dad died? Then I continued reading.
I had to get away from there as soon as possible. I tried to take you with me but apparently mom and dad sighed up a contract to give you to the foster care. It was like they knew they were going to die. But like I said things are different now and I'm looking forward to seeing you again....that depends on if you want to see me too.

I looked up at Kian in shock "I have a sister?" Kian nodded his head. "Looks like you do" I put the envelope in my bag and ran upstairs to my room. As soon as I shut the door I dug out the envelope out of my bag and called the number
Call~
Megan- Hello?
Me- umm.... hi!
Megan- Who's this?
Me- this may sound weird...and when I do say this please don't hang up....I think we are sisters.
Megan- Skyler?!?!
Me- Yeah....that's me....and I'm kinda freaked out right now...so would you mind explaining all this to me?
Megan- I knew that you would be....so..I know that this is all crazy and your probably thinking that I'm lying and this is probably some practical joke.....but I am your sister....the only reason why you don't know me is because you were only a baby when mom and dad gave you up before they died.
Me- Wait!.....so your telling me that all my life I did not know that I had a sister and now she magically shows up and tells me that our parents died and they gave me up before they did?
Megan- Yeah.....
Me- .......
Megan- Please don't be mad....you have to understand I did it for your safety.
Me- How did they die?
Megan- who?
Me- Mom and Dad?
Megan- They were both diagnosed with cancer when they were both around 30....by that time I was about 11 years old.
Me- so....your older then me?
Megan- yes....right now I'm 28
Me- so....where are you right now?
Megan- at my apartment
Me- can I see you?
Megan- yeah of course!....my door number for my apartment is #17...it won't be to hard to miss.
Me- okay!....see you in a bit
Megan- okay!...bye
Me- Bye
Then I hung up the phone and grabbed my bag and headed for the front door.
Jc's POV
After I got done editing a video that me and Ricky did together I walked out of my room to go to the kitchen but before I could I ran into Skyler "hey..." I said "Hi" she said getting out of the way and going to the door "Where are you going?" I asked before she could walk out "apparently I have a sister" she said and closed the door. I walked into the kitchen and saw Kian sitting at the table on his phone. I walked up to him. "What was that?" I asked. Kian looked up at me "what?" "The whole Skyler has a sister thing" Kian shrugged his shoulders "I don't know man....I found this envelope on the front step a couple hours ago and had Skyler's name on it....I did not know what to do at first....so I took it inside and read it....so its true... Skyler has a sister." I looked at him weird. "Okay...well I'm going to head out....call me if you hear anything." I said picking up my keys and walking towards the door.
Kian's POV
It was about 12:00 in the morning and Skyler was still not home. I was getting ready to go to bed when the doorbell rang. When I opened the door Cody was standing there. "Hey" I said letting him in. "Hi.....have you seen Skyler?" He asked looking concerned "uhh... not since she left...why?" "She has not been answering her phone....I've called her like a million times but still no answer" "well sh-" then the door opened and it was Skyler. When she got inside she looked at us weird. "Whats Cody doing here?" Was the first words that came out of her mouth. "Uhh.... he was trying to look for you..." I said in responce. Then Cody and Skyler exchanged looks and they headed upstairs.
Sorry I have not been updating so much lately. But to make it up for you guys I made this chapter super long!...anyways...so do you think Skyler is going to tell Cody about her so called sister or keep it a secret...idk you guys will just have to wait till the next chapter!....bye (:
