Chapter~12~ Waiting is always a option
Skyler's POV
I was staring at the clock tick tock tick tock. I slept over at Megan's for the first time. I was sitting on the couch waiting for her to wake up because I'm an early person and I woke up at 6. Finally I gave up waiting and turned on the TV. Finally a couple minutes passed and I heard a groan. Then I saw her come around the corner of the hallway. "Hey" I said now turning off the TV and looking at her "how can you do it?" I looked at her confused "what?" "Getting up at the butt crack of dawn....you've only known me for what" she paused "a week now" "well...one things for sure....I am a morning person so you'll just have to deal with it" I said smirking. "Well I guess if I have to" she said sarcastically. After we ate breakfast Megan dropped me off at Cody's house so that we could hang out. When I got to the door I knocked and I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. Finally the door opened and Cody was standing in front of me. He walked up to me and pecked my lips "how are you?" He asked "Fine" then we walked inside.
Kian's POV
I woke up and walked downstairs. I saw Skyler at the table eating a bowl of cereal. "Good morning.... Slept over at Megan's last night?" "Yeah" she mumbled taking another bite. "Wow...seem so exited..." I said sarcastically. "Sorry.....its just that we don't have really much in common....for example...I like waking up early and she likes sleeping in....I like eating Healthy and she likes junk food....and don't even get me started on what music she likes" I laughed a little and got a glass of orange juice from the fridge. "So....is it about time to meet this Megan" I asked. "Sure why not" she said taking her bowl of cereal and putting it in the sink and running upstairs to get ready.
