Akira's POV
The month went by calmly, and I fell back into my daily routine, back in my own house and had contact with IU, we went out once in a while.
I thought I had successfully escaped any more run-ins with Jungkook. However, one day, IU confessed that she was the one who had told him about my schedule.
I couldn't believe my ears.
"He's been rather harmless lately, aside from spamming my Twitter," I remarked. "Well, it's not like you were dating him," Bang PD Nim replied and shrugged.
Today was the day that the boys from BTS were supposed to visit my villa for the filming of their reality show.
I had reluctantly agreed to host them, knowing that it would only lead to more chaos. "What the hell am I even doing here?!" I couldn't help but facepalm.
I found myself at the Hybe Company early in the morning, the day the BTS members were scheduled to leave for their vacation at my villa.
The Hybe Company, previously known as Big Hit Entertainment, had undergone some changes since I took control of it.
I tried.
The CEO Bang PD the man standing next to me said he'd rather die than hand me the company. "You're here to meet the boys officially." He replied and I rolled my eyes.
But I managed to secure the 'Chair' position, it through some, let's say, persuasive bargaining tactics.
Technically i'm the leader of the corporation, the board of directors who is responsible for running the board smoothly and effectively.
I couldn't help but wonder why I was here at this hour to bid them goodbye. It wasn't like me to be so concerned about their departure.
I sighed, watching the staff prepare for the trip, hoping that things would go smoothly during their stay at the villa.
As the BTS members assembled, they approached, and I nodded. "Boys, as you know, this is Ayeon Akira, the head of our board of directors," PD Nim introduced, and their expressions shifted to shock.
"I saw potential in your growth and wanted to take over the company, but circumstances led me here," I explained.
Jungkook's eyes lit up at the prospect of more encounters, and he sang, "Noonaaa~~~" He lunged for a hug, but I swiftly sidestepped, avoiding the embrace.
"Easy, Jungkook. I came here to officially meet you not to cuddle sessions," I advised, trying to maintain a professional demeanor.
Jungkook pouted backing away, disappointed that his hugging plans were thwarted. Jimin and V couldn't help but snicker at him.
RM approached me extended a handshake, and I accepted it. "I wanted to meet you!" He greeted, and I reciprocated with a smile, pulling him into a friendly hug.
"Likewise, RM. Your leadership has been impressive," I commended.
Meeting each member, I exchanged simple greetings. "Hi," I nodded to Jimin, who smiled in return. I acknowledged Suga, receiving a casual nod.
"Hey," I greeted Jin, who responded with a friendly wave. "Hi there," J-Hope, who flashed a bright smile. "Hello," I nodded at V, who gave a casual greeting.
Jungkook, who grinned and replied with a simple "Hi."
"Safe travels, boys. Enjoy your time off." Said Bang PD Nim. Jungkook grinned, "Don't worry. We'll be on our best behavior."
The rest of the group chuckled, and I couldn't help but smile. Despite the challenges they sometimes brought into my life, I had grown fond of young men.
