The sky was worth a look.

As the morning breezes hit, a shudder went through my shoulders. Surprisingly I woke up early today as back in the Palace Miss Nora used to let me have a good nine-hour sleep with pure silence but here the tree woke me up with a loud rustle.

I walked down the stairs after having a pure moment of peace and a sense of isolation but to my surprise, no one was there. Before spending my time near the window in my room, Jin called me down for breakfast. I turned towards the kitchen where a bowl filled with rice and an omelette on the top was resting on the table, it looked delicious but where was Jin?

*muffled creak*

I turned my head towards the direction of the sound. I saw Jin outside, on the lawn practicing archery. He had me fetching over him again. I picked up the bowl and a spoon and made my way towards the living room which was ultimately connected to the lawn. I drew open the glass door which made him look at me.

"Hey," he said while placing a bow preparing for his next hit.

"Hey. So you have learned archery?" I asked settling myself down on the wooden floor with was connected to the living room.

"Yes, I learned it for hunting and all," he said stretching his arm and aiming at his target.

*tung*

The bow thread vibrated as the arrow hit the red area. A smile appeared on his face.
Damn.

" you seem to be very excellent at this" I stated as I picked up a spoonful of rice and placed I guess in my mouth, my tastebuds acted up.

"My younger brother taught me" How many brothers does he have?

"He is excellent at this, way better than me" he added

I nodded my head in response. Time passed by as he shot arrows and soon I was done with my breakfast. Energy rushed through my body, I stood up and jumped on my feet which caught his attention.

"I want to try" I voiced. When I was sixteen my father taught me archery and I was pretty good at it.

"Do you know anything about archery?" he asked. I mean it is quite accepted, you can't learn anything just by watching it.

"Not much, a little but I would love to try"

"Sure" he smiled as I walked to him. He handed me his bow.

"Do you need help?" he asked.

"Sure" I spoke as he stood beside me, his hand on the bow adjusting an angle.

"Now as you are a beginner, I suggest you shoot the arrow according to your eye dominance which is closing your left eye as you are holding the bow with your left hand so that your aim will be accurate" his voice collisions with my ear with wind. Blood rushed towards my ear and cheeks and in that very pleasure my eyelids fell

"But I think I can shoot without closing my left eye" I spoke with slyness in my voice, the words were slow and still.

"Yes but as I am a well-trained archer I do it with hand dexterity which is adjusting your hand according to the level of the target" He let out as he laid his eyes on me. I turned back to speak but his eyes were fixed on mine.

I couldn't speak.

"O-okay" I looked right at the target gulping the lump in my throat.

"Alright now, keep this bow in this small outlet and the other end which is the side of feathers, keep this on the string and pull the string" My mind which was still marked under his eyes slowly comprehended his rapid measures.

"Like this?" I asked as he nodded.

"Now move your right leg slightly front and straight your back" he directed but my sanity was on its verge and I couldn't pay an ear to his words. Yet I moved my body as he directed.

"No Y/N right leg should be front and your arrow hand's shoulder should be taken back" Something was wrong I couldn't move my body at my will. I couldn't push back my hand.

Suddenly my back hair picked up, he held my shoulders to straighten my back, and his hands slowly travelled down to my hip bones as he directed my leg position.
My heavy breathing must have caught his attention.

"I am sorry" he whispered slowly as he moved back. The chilly breeze came in contact with my body again and I despised it.

"Stretch and shoot the arrow" My body went numb from his contact. I could still feel his warm hand on my shoulders and my hip bones.
With little stability, I pulled the string near my cheek and shot the arrow. It didn't hit the red but it did hit the blue area.

"That's a good try" he let out as he walked to grab another arrow. No, it's not good I missed it, in front of him how can I?

I placed and pulled the arrow back and this time I used hand dexterity.

*tung*

The arrow strikes the red area, I turned towards Jin with a smile but to my amazement, he was already gazing at me. I felt heat on my cheeks again. He walked unhurriedly towards me. His eyes were replaced by a cold stare from that joyful tint. And in no time he was in front of me, towering over me with his shadow which was consumed by the dark clouds. Unplanned I took a step back, and another one and the more I strolled back the closer he came. Eventually, the bow fell from my hands, beside our feet he looked at me with an emotion that I couldn't comprehend.

Was it anger?
Was he perplexed?
Was he furious with me?
But for what?
He was alright before, WE were alright before.

All of a sudden his hand raised and pushed my hair back which was resting on my right shoulder.
My heart raced.
He diverted his eyes to my neck and then to me.

"Who are you?"

People who save this stupid fanfiction in their reading list make me squeal and jump like a loon here and there.
I love y'all.
