The ALTERNATIVE World Of Gumball

The Death Wish.

At school again, just like everyday, well.. not really everyday, would be a regular day, Elmore Junior High is on going as it's supposed to be, eternally boring. Gumball in the other hand felt like dying out of boredom, he had his palm supporting his jawline to prevent him from falling asleep, but eventually his eyes felt drowsy and soon drifted to a nap.

But as soon as he does, he felt a hand on his shoulder out of the blue, causing him to jolt up awake, and turns to his left to where the touch on his shoulder was felt, catching Darwin in his eyes.

Darwin: Gumball, you awake? Sorry about that, but uhm...

His face seems worried, or a little troubled, rather, while having a curious expression aswell on his face.

Gumball raises an eyebrow as a response, slowly raising himself up to level Darwin after nearly falling asleep. He didn't say a word, since he was too tired to even speak, but a small "hmph" escapes his mouth.

Darwin: I know you're a bit too dumb to ask for topics, but I kinda trailed off, and.. I honestly can't gather information on what's written on the chalkboard.

He says in a whispering voice, while also making a gesture out of it by putting his hand vertically by the side of his face. With his expression that kinda reads "sorry if I'm lacking out a bit '>_<'."

Gumball's eyes shift towards the chalkboard, he also didn't realize how much it's written on there, but all he knew it was focused on one topic (no shit it's not like it's two topics at the same time :skull:) which is.... The Reproductive System, yeah... the only scientific topic that can lead to... y'know what.

Gumball pauses completely, how the heck is he gonna explain this to an innocent child exactly??

"Oh that's not.." his voice trails off while mumbling to himself. He replies back by chuckling nervously.

Gumball: oh-! That Darwin is, uhh...

He can't just say that an eggplant goes into a peach- JUST N O.

He pulls Darwin towards his shoulder, before whispering "just borrow some notes from someone cause I can't understand the topic too." Miss Simian then calls their names out, both ending with their surname, while in the middle of her demonstrating, this time it was about.. likely how sperm cell and egg cell merges.....

"Watterson, kindly share with us about what you and your brother are on about??" She says in a stern voice, looking at Gumball specifically as the two exchange glances.

Gumball: oh nothing in particular miss simian..

He laughs nervously.

Darwin: I was just trying to get the topic cause I trailed off.. ._.

"JUST LISTEN CAREFULLY!"

She yelled back in response before turning back to the chalkboard, while taking a deep breath to maintain her composure out from stress, and went back to her previous spot on the topic, as she speaks calmly.

"Anyways...."

The rest is history.

Time skip. The two are seen walking through the hallways, heading to their locker after their first subject in class has ended. Darwin was a bit confused how Gumball said "I can't understand the topic too." When he looked like he did.
