Rachel was in the loft, and Will was in the teacher's lounge, talking on the phone to each other...
Rachel: "Mr. Schue, how are you? By the way, it's Rachel."
Will: "Rachel, hey. Good. Just getting ready for regionals."
Rachel: "Just ringing you, wondering how Ashleigh's doing? I can't get an honest answer out of that girl."
Will: "You know what, Rachel? She's doing really well. She's working closely with her therapist and peers; she's doing well."
Rachel: "That's good. I wanted you to be the first I told, even before Kurt, my dad's... even before Finn, I've got my callback for Funny Girl this morning."
Will: "Wait, did you get Fanny Brice?"
Rachel: "Not yet; it's between me and two other girls."
Will: "That's incredible news, Rachel. You're a shoo-in."
Rachel: "I just want you to know that if it does happen, it's because of you and Ashleigh. I mean, if it wasn't for my sister, I wouldn't be at NYADA."
Will: "Well, I know Ashleigh wouldn't rest until she got you into that school, but if I contributed even a little bit..."
Rachel: "You contributed more than a little. I sang "Don't Stop Believing" for my audition, and when I sang it, I thought about that first week, just that my sister was there with me instead of Tina. It brought back so many emotions; it made my performance so powerful. You were the one who put that all together. You okay, Mr. Schue?"
Will: "Yeah, fine, just allergies. Rachel, I'm so proud of you."
Rachel: "Look, I know Ashleigh screwed everyone up at sectionals, but she's the reason you're going to regionals... give her a second chance."
Will: "Of course. She's gotten her second chance on stage at regionals."

Rachel: "I just want her to know how amazingly proud of everything she's overcome and achieved. She's a wonderful person."
They hung up, and he signed softly.
A few minutes later, Will was in the choir room...
"All right, guys, I just got some wonderful news from Rachel. She's got a second callback for Funny Girl."Will said.
"What? That's awesome." Blaine says.
Everyone clapped.
"I already knew, but let me guess she wanted to see how I was doing, huh?" Asked Ashleigh.
Will nodded.
"That's not our only good news. Brittany's at MIT touring the campus because she's got her early acceptance." Said Will.
