Later, Rachel was in the dance studio, seeming more happy and relieved that her dad had been cured of cancer, and she was learning lines...

Cassandra walked in, seeing her.

"Well, well. If it isn't Little Miss David Schwimmer." Cassie said.

"I'm sorry, I thought I reserved this room."

"So you could stare at yourself in the mirror and run lines for your Funny Girl callback? You know this isn't normal, right? Running lines in the mirror isn't typical steps in the acting process. Actors less narcissistic than yourself actually prefer to rehearse with other actors." Cassie said.

"Who told you about my callbacks?"

"Barbra Streisand, a very close personal friend. See, I ran into her at Target, and then in passing, she just said that a NYADA freshman who looked like a troll was slated to read for producers on Wednesday. Then I thought to myself, "Babs can't be talking about Schwimmer. Schwimmer has her dance midterm that day." Cassie says.

"Please, Ms. July... I cannot miss this callback, okay? This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

"Right, I wouldn't dream of you missing it. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me too. I plan on attending that callback. Because you have a tendency to choke under pressure, I'm gonna be there with Barbra and her husband, James Brolin, to watch you blow your first big Broadway audition. In the meantime, I'm gonna change your midterm to tomorrow morning." Said Cassie.

"What?"

"You heard me, David. 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, you will also perform the solo of the second act of Balanchine's 1941 masterpiece Concerto Barocco, which is widely regarded as the most difficult ballet routine ever devised, while you're widely regarded as having one of the puffiest morning faces of any known human. It's gonna be a great combination." Cassie tells her.

Back in the choir room, Mike stood in front of the Glee Clubbers...

"Since this week is about wonderful things, I want to celebrate two wonderful talents. One of them is new to Glee Club this year. One is old but still a legend of Glee Club history. If we all help her with her confidence, she can lead you guys right back to nationals like she did for us." Mike says.

Sam stood up.

"Stop being so modest and get your butts up here, Jake and Ashleigh." Said Mike.

"Are you sure you can keep up?" Asked Jake.

"Could you? I'm gonna run circles around you, baby." Ashleigh says, smirking at Jake.

"Ooh." Everyone said, smirking at Jake.

Towards the end, Mike ran off, leaving Ashleigh and Jake to finish.

They all cheered, clapping their hands, and Jake shook his head.

"Wait a second, Jake, who couldn't keep up?" Asked Ashleigh.

"Okay, everybody better stop underestimating her. She gets freaking better every time you do!" Jake shouted, groaning loudly.

Blaine jumped up, hugging Ashleigh and spinning her around.

"She gave you a run for your money." Marley says, snickering loudly and hugging Jake.

"This is gonna work. I just wish Mercedes was here to see that." Mike says, sitting beside Kurt.
