Miracle: Bad Omens

          Avery made sure to make it very clear that even if she was working the day presale started, she'd at the very least work a later shift than she normally would. She wasn't about to miss her chance at getting these tickets. Her manager laughed at the statement and made sure she wasn't even scheduled knowing that Avery never makes any sort of requests like these and is normally the type that would pick up doubles if someone called out. Her manager's only request of Avery was she better come in the next day and been successful at getting the tickets. The night before she made sure to set several alarms leading up to when presale started to make sure everything was ready by 10 am. She woke up at around 8:45 and grabbed her fully charged laptop along with her credit cards. Sure, she had the money to buy them out right, and technically she would, she just figured why not help build her credit?

          She had 8 different tabs open on her laptop by 9:55. Two tabs for each show; one being to buy the general admission ticket and the other being universe to try and get the VIP meet and greets. She anxiously bit her lip, watching her clock and counting down until it was 10 o'clock on the dot. She made sure to pull up all the VIPs first, successfully getting one for each of the four shows she planned to attend before they sold out. Next was trying to get the actual ticket itself so she could get into the show. She managed to snag a ticket to Pittsburgh and Silver Spring but just barely missed them for the Columbus and Philly shows.

          She texted Riya and Sara the mostly good news. The two girls replied with how they were successful for the shows of their choosing, for both VIP and general admission tickets. Sara would be going to the same shows as Avery while Riya would only be able to make it to Philly and Silver Spring. Nonetheless, the three girls were feeling ecstatic knowing they could finally meet one another after what felt like endless months of only knowing one another from the internet. Avery decided to go out and treat herself and stop at a couple shops to find some cute tops and more clothes. She stayed in her sweatpants and threw on a zip up jacket over her sports bra and headed out. She didn't find many clothes she liked besides a pair of black cargo pants and a corset top and made her way home.

          Right as she got home her phone lit up with a text from Sara.

What if me and you surprise Riya and go stay in Philly for a couple days before the show? That way the three of us get to hang out a little bit? I can drive my car to yours and we can get situated for the travel for three of the four shows you're closer to and head out there before hand

          Avery was excited to finally be able to meet the girls she talks to every day. The same girls who make sure she's taking proper care of herself even when she goes into a depressive episode. She fell asleep peacefully that night and couldn't wait for September to get here.
