Avery's POV
When I woke up it was only 11 am. Seven hours of sleep isn't too bad, but I wouldn't complain if I had gotten more. I grabbed Sara's keys and let her sleep more as I decided to be a good friend and grab us some Starbucks. When I got back to the hotel, I brought our bags up with me.
"Where the fuck," Sara paused. "Thank you, best friend!"
I laughed at how quickly her expression changed seeing the coffee in my hand along with her bag so she could change. We got changed and started back down to the car after deciding to just show up to her house. After a 45 or so minute ride we turned down her street. It took two rings for her to answer my video call, which is about the same amount of time it took for us to pull into her driveway.
"Hello?" I hear her voice ring through the car.
"COME OUTSIDE YOU BITCH" Sara yells as I laugh at her.
"Wait what?" Riya questions and we watch her peak through her blinds before she dropped phone and we saw her door swing open.
Sara and I immediately get out of the car and I hear Riya sniffle as the three of us group hug. I hug them both tighter and we tell Riya to hurry up and pack a bag.
"What do you mean?" She quizzes
"Aves and I have a hotel that's barely even a block away from the venue. We figured we stay in the city and spend some time with the three of us before we're waiting outside all day for barricade," Sara speaks up.
Riya immediately rushes inside and grabs an already packed bag. We load into Sara's car after making sure Riya's place is locked up and we head back to the hotel. We spend the drive jamming out to our favorite bands including but not limited to Ice Nine Kills, Motionless, in White, Bad Omens, etc.
"HERE AM I," Riya screams.
"TAKE ME TO THE PEARLY GATES," Sara continues as I smile widely
"SO I CAN LOOK YOU IN THE EYES WHEN I SPIT IN YOUR FACE," I shout with them.
The three of us erupt into laughter after we take notice of the elderly couple who looks as if we just murdered their family in front of their eyes. Once the light turns green, we quickly but safely make our getaway and finally make it back to the hotel. We walk up to our room and once again burst into laughter.
"Oh my god," Sara exclaims, flopping onto the bed.
"You'd have thought we had killed their dog or something," I say finally catching my breath.
"Alright I'm going to get a shower then you two can fight over who gets the next one."
I come out in my towel as I see the two girls are watching Criminal Minds on the TV. I get dressed and went to go sit on the couch as I heard a knock at the door. I grabbed the pizza they had ordered and finally joined them. I couldn't stop the giant smile making its way onto my face as I realize how happy I am to finally have met these two girls in person.
"No," Sara looks at me as I giggle. "Don't go all fucking sappy on us or I'll bitch slap the absolute shit out of you."
"Hey now, leave me alone. I can say I'm happy that's not getting all sappy and neither is me smiling, okay? Don't start with me," I respond and Riya laughs.
We turn our focus back to the TV and before you know it, we're all asleep on the couch and I wake up to my alarm.
"Ugh, shut that bitch up goddamn," Riya says rubbing her eyes.
"How about you realize I'm trying and just shut the fuck up?" I bitch back at her not happy about the disturbance either.
Neither of us could fall back asleep so we got up and decided to go get breakfast. Sara woke up as we were getting ready and the three of us found this cute little café and got some breakfast. By the time we got back to the hotel it was around 11. We ended up just spending the rest of the day planning for the concert in a couple days and just soaking in the fact the three of us were finally together and not just over the phone.
