“Wait, he said what ?”, Yeosang wanted to know, suppressing the laugh wanting to come over his lips and drinking a sip of his beer. Everyone gathering at Mingi’s place the evening after everything went down, listening to Mingi talking like a complete maniac. Switching from threatening to kill himself to being angry to saying it is what it is.

He hadn’t slept, just trying to text and call and yell at his dad straight enough for him to call this off. But in the end nothing happened rather than his dad pulling the string closer and threatening him to cut off all the money and forcing him to just obey. Even trying to talk him into this and saying that Yunho was an elegant, well mannered guy and he shouldn't be so sensitive. Mingi was close to puking hearing him talk like that - should he marry him instead.

“For real, are we living in the 19th century?”, his friend was adding, while San was looking at Mingi all worried. Mingi was sitting on one end of the bed, Yeosang on the other - San just looking over his shoulder as he was sitting right before it with Woo trying to get a paint stain out of his shirt. He was able to tell his dad that this was an emergency so he came along. And to be honest, Mingi getting married to a stranger was definitely an emergency.

“No, but we are living in a time where people can make recordings of you and post it on the internet so your life is a complete mess and you need to force your son to marry a guy to set an statement about being open for gay marriage”, Mingi was breathing in long after finishing the sentences, making Yeosang look at him all impressed.

“That’s so fucked up, I can’t even process this”, San was saying, not adding much to the desperation in Mingis chest, but in the end nobody could do something about this. Woo was finally letting go of San’s shirt, and sitting up at one of the chairs and grabbing his beer. The next second clicking around on his phone.

“Does the guy have socials?”, he wanted to know and Mingi realized that he hadn’t checked. Why would he? There was no reason for him to check him, or look at his pictures or try to find out who his friends were. Besides the fact that he needed to tell the world tomorrow that this guy was his future husband.

“ Jeon Yunho , look for yourself”, he was just spitting out, drinking a way too long sip of his own beer. Woo was concentrated for a moment and San was still massaging his temple and shaking his head from time to time as if the thought of Mingi getting married would caught up to him.

“Okay, but he’s hot as fuck”, Woo was saying and Mingi was straight away making a gag sound out of reflex.

“Wait, show me”, Yeosang was putting his hand out and trying to grab the phone from him. Woo just standing up and getting between Mingi and Yeo to show them both. Even if Mingi had no interest in seeing his dumb pictures.

“He’s driving a Mercedes SL500”, “Why would you know that?”, San was asking irritated and Woo was just grinning a little, “it’s in the caption I don’t know shit about cars”.

Yeosang leaning deep down to still see even if Woo was shaking so much.

“Of course he does”, Mingi just whispered out annoyed, allowing himself to look down as well and snapping the phone out of Woo’s hand in the next second.

“Let me see”, “Of course its your husband”, “One more word and I will kill you”, Mingi was threatening him, causing Woo to smile but put his head on Yeosang’s chest as if he should protect him. Letting the younger one hug him and gesturing to kick Mingi if he would dare to hurt him.

And Mingi was looking down on the phone, trying to understand what in the whole world he was meaning by saying he was hot. He was well dressed maybe, but you could put every idiot into some nice clothes and it would make them seem attractive. Scrolling a little and seeing all sorts of poses and pictures, some in his car, some at a dinner with some friends, always wearing black and showing off his money. Does this guy smile for once? Drink some beer, having some fun? Seeing him sitting at a table with a red wine glass in his hand seemed hella fucking boring.

“He looks like every other rich snob”, “Hate to break it to you baby, but you are one of them too”, Yeosang was saying, continuing to drink his beer, even if Woo was still laying all over his chest and playing with San’s hair at the same time. Smiling down on him as if he was close to shove his tongue down his throat.

“Maybe my dad is, but you know how I think about this”, Mingi was being serious this time, he couldn’t control the desperation in his voice thinking about the night would not last forever.

“But what should we do now?”, San was saying.

“I told you I was talking to him, no matter what I said or which plan I come up with he didn’t back down”, Mingi said, kicking his feet and letting his hand run over his face. Yeosang was sitting up a bit, Woo looking at Mingi all worried as he was getting his phone back.

“Maybe just play along until we find a way to get you out of there”, he was explaining, not really helping Mingi but at least he didn't feel alone in this.

“So I should tell everyone that I am getting married to him?”,

“There is not much you can do, Minnie”.
