this is going to be a very short chapter, like half size, as i was swamped with homework. and! tomorrow is an important day for me, personally, so i need to get as much sleep as i can <3

again, very sorry. but i wanted to stick to the schedule and still get something out there.

the laser ray fires from the fake observatory, directly hitting the real one. othello is too stunned to react, he stands in shock but is quickly thrown back from the blast.

the lazer had caused the observatory to explode and all inside the fake observatory are singed slightly. othellos sits on the floor, flicking his goggles down.

y/n stares, shocked. there's nothing she can say or think, y/n's reeling with what just happened.

"i don't think even he could survive that." mikey states, as the explosion caused by the lazer dies down.

but something flies out of the final remnants of the explosion. "look!" othello cries out, pointing into the sky.

"neon leon!" y/n shouts, excitedly as he grins. she knew it, the blue hero always makes it out.

"neon leon!" othello shouts, but he's frightened as now he's only angered this guy. 

but both y/n and othello are wrong. as the cape flies into the fake observatory, it lands on the purple villain, making him squirm. this results in the cape flipping over, revealing a skeleton.

all parties are stunned. no one saw this coming, neon leon always makes a comeback... right?

mikey is the first to speak, breaking the silence. "you... you did it sir." he sounds surprised, as if he doesn't believe the words coming out of his mouth.

"i did it?" othello replies, also not believing it.

"he did it?" y/n echos, again not believing it.

"i did it?" the turtle still can't wrap his mind around it and his voice sounds happier as he comes to the realization.

 "he did it." in a contrasting way, y/n voice diminishes, becoming a little more down, staring at the skeleton with a sad shock.

"you did it, sir." mikey's voice changes to one of pride, his older brother finally got what he wanted.

"i did it!" othello also sounds proud but he sits up, excitedly, running over to mikey. he shakes him, grinning from ear to ear.

"you did it!" mikey says, still being shook by his fellow turtle. 

othello lets mikey go, moving to the open area of the observatory. he looks over the city, now heroless. he did it. after all these years. "i did it! new york city is mine!" all his.
