Chapter XVIII

3rd POV
Russia and Israel didn't move a muscle as China was twirling his spear around. It was like he... was... hypnotizing... the two. China then jumped to the air and kicked the spear towards them. Russia wasn't fazed and jumped to dodge the spear. Israel was a magic user, she had seen better hypnotic spells better than China's she stood her ground as he recited a spell for defense. As the spear touched the ground, smoke covered the colosseum. All the audience could see was something shiny hitting and sounds of clashing. As it dispersed, the saw that Israel and China trying to make the other fall. She had held the sharp end of the spear as China tries hard to push it in her chest.

Russia took this opportunity to try to attack China which makes him fly to the wall. The crowds started to cheer, except for the Serpentine Clan. China roared which cause an echo effect that would pin anyone from the strong winds. Israel stood her ground as her Magic made her immune. She did some spells that made the winds go back to China. This made China stuck on the wall. To avoid the team up being seen, Russia ruined the spell which made China fall to the ground. It had worked which made fall back to the wall and pinned by the nonstop winds. Israel and Russia fought each other. The spells that she had wrote on her arms made her punches like the punches of a thousand men. She tried to punch Russia but he blocked it using his wings.

He felt how strong the punches were as his Damascus blade that blocked all her punches started to vibrate and break. He needed a plan and soon they heard China roar again to counter the strong winds. China flew back and he had partial dragon look. China dove directly to the two fighters but Russia quickly stepped out which made Israel the target. A cloud of dust covered the colosseum. As soon the cloud of dust disintegrated, the crowd saw as Israel had blocked the impact of China who became a large Serpent Dragon. Israel felt her legs starting to get tired and her bones starting to crack. It was painful. Russia used this opportunity to morph to his dragon form. He roared to get China's attention.

It did work as China moved his focus to the large dragon. Israel had collapsed and she was ultimately lost the fight. It was between the Serpentine Clan and the son of the Leader of Fire Elements. China hissed, "This is what I was waiting for. I knew your plan so I removed the variable to make it to my favor." Russia roared as his tail was shiny as his Damascus blade.

America watched his boyfriend ready to attack China. He couldn't hold his bladder and told Kaz that he will be gone quickly. He went out of the colosseum to relieve himself and once done, he was knocked out by something.

Russia had bitten down on China's knock which China retaliated by wrapping his serpent body on Russia's. When he bit down hard, China squeezed his body tighter. "There is only one way to do this, Russia," he hissed. "And what is that?", Russia growled. "Surrender and you will be spared." Russia laughed, "That's it? I'll just rip your throat out to stop listening to that voice of yours." China then smirked, "Maybe the Earth Element." Russia then looked at him with anger as he bite his throat even harder that blood started to drip from the wound. China then in return squeezed his body harder. "Seems like that made you angry." Russia then bite his neck hard slammed him on the ground. With this, China also scratched Russia and squeezed him before letting go.

He got his balance and roared. Russia was spitting blood out of his mouth and his scratch marks bleeding. "Where is he?", he growled. China laughed and hissed, "Surrender then I will tell you." Russia then lunged forward to attack China.

Meanwhile, America was dragged by three of China's "wives". America had woken up and struggled himself free. One of them stepped on America's side to shut him up. This made him cry in pain. "Such a baby. No wonder why Earth elements are weak," one of them laughed. One of them was about to stomp on his head until she was stabbed from behind. The other turned and moved back in fear. It was the third girl who removed her mask. "I am done being an 'object' for that idiot," she said in anger. The other girl was killed, blood splattering everywhere. America was stunned and scared frozen. The girl undid the bonds of America and helped him up. He clutched his injured side, "T-thank you...." She sighed, "No problem Earthy boy. I'll help you get to him."

She helped America walk out. "Thanks.... What is your name? Maybe I'll ask Ruski if you can be part with him," he suggested. She scoffed, "So you call Russia, Ruski? Your funny. Anyways, call me Taiwan," she added.

Russia roared and fiercely attacked China. China had slithered underneath and gave attacks to Russia. Russia was already covered in scratch marks, bite marks, and bruises that made him bleed a lot. He was struggling to stand from all the attacks. China gave a smirk as he saw his opponent about to fall. "Just give up, Russia. It's time for another king, a new Leader for the Fire Elements," he taunted. Russia bared his bloody teeth. He remembered what his father taught him and how much his boyfriend cheered for him. For Russia, time had slowed down and he was able to process his opponent's next move. He watched as China puffed his chest and was ready to breathe fire. Russia then ran and dodged the flames.

America and Taiwan came out to see what had happened next. America saw that Russia turned back to his human form to slide under China and back to his dragon form to topple China. China was surprised by it. Russia bit his neck to make him fall under him. This time, China was late to react. Russia used his dragon claw to grab ahold of his mouth and neck. China couldn't roar, breathe fire, and talk at all. Soon the judges announced the winner. It was Russia.
