Borders (A rewritten RusAme Story)

Chapter II

-Russia POV-
I glanced at that Earth element kid. Bumping into was one thing but then being in the same class as him!? Hilarious. I watched his every move. I slightly became interested when he created a pencil just by using his powers. I felt death glared on me and knew that his brother was staring at me making sure that I didn't harm his brother. Does his brother know that his brother avoided a close call today? My attention was brought back by Mr. EU who scolded me for not paying attention and used my powers.

You know one of the beliefs of the elements is that everything we touch burns? That depends, if we can control our powers. I touched my notebook and a drawing was formed making the paper slightly burned. Class ended and I was glad. Can't stand being with that Earth element. "Russia!" I looked to see my half brother, Germany. Well this is complicated, before my father met my mother he dated Germany's father. They had a falling out. Through lies and a lot of stuff they couldn't handle each other and broke up.

With that, Germany was in between and his brother who witnessed the fall out. His brother is kind to us but our dad. Anyways, I waved at him. He seemed happy today. "Well what happened?" He showed me a letter stamped with an Air element symbol. I laughed quietly, "Aw, Germ has a secret admirer." Germany blushed and playfully punched and ran away. I chuckled and went towards the group of Fire elements. One of them, China a popular Fire element and a rich kid started up rumors around. No wonder why he is friends with us.

"So the girl?" North asked. China chuckled, "Believed it and cried when I said we are over." While we hung out, some guy decided to dump water on us. We knew he was a water element and that was the reason why don't deal with those idiots. Four people around collapsed on the floor, convulsing. I growled and slammed the guy on the lockers. I'm one of those elements who are immune to the powers of Water elements. "Mind your own business kid." He smirked, "And? You elements can't use your powers."

I growled and he started to complain that he started to burn. I didn't stop until the teachers forcefully pulled me away. I looked around to see in the hallway, that Earth kid had told the teachers. Would he tell that my collar had stopped working? After the crowd slowly vanished, I walked up to him. "Did you see everything?" Before he responded, another Earth element went to him and dragged him away. I grumbled and went to the clinic to check up on those who had convulsed.

-America POV-
I was confused why Japan pulled me away from Russia? Yea it was Russia. "Jap, what's up?" She sighed, "People say you saw everything! Did you!?" I nodded. She asked many questions until one really made me think. "If he was using his powers, just for a few minutes. Why didn't you tell them earlier?" "I... I don't know." She was right, Why didn't I tell them? Class was about to start and we both waved good bye and head to class. I looked and realized that it was Science.

I went in and sat in my seat and was excited to see on the board that it was biology. I am very into biology, maybe it's part of being an earth element. Just kidding. Who is late again in class? Russia. He mumbled under his breath, before I realized. He sat next to me. I looked around and realized that it was the only vacant seat left, again! Our teacher, we just call them ASEAN. They explained that they don't like to be called by Mr or Ms. One thing that became interesting. They started to talk about animals that are rare or common in each element.

While taking notes, I realized someone staring at me. I glanced and realized that Russia was looking at me. He must've noticed and looked back at the board where they kept writing notes. I created a pencil and rolled it to him. He looked at the rolled pencil and looked back at me. He stayed silent and drew something. They clapped their hands to get our attention, "Now, for this first experiment. You will be in pairs in order to do this activity. The ones seated next to you are your pairs."

I nodded and looked and realized that my pair is Russia. He must be more upset than ever. But instead of what I thought, did he just smirk? Oh boy...
