3.Alone

To say that Leeknow ignored the boy after that incident? It will be too big of a statement.. He still brought him three meals and water, he still brought in clean clothes and medicines, he still every dawn would open the curtains and go to his room to avoid the sun himself.. but not a single word were spoken between them, and it's not Leeknow's fault or so he says.

It's been three days since Hyunjin's little trip around the apartment, and after storming into his now room, he decided to make it easy for the monster to kill him, he decided to be an annoying doll..
Every time he hears the door opens, he would sit straight and not move a muscle, he wouldn't even look at the vampire bringing him stuff, he would sit there and if it wasn't for his chest movements breathing in, he would be taken as dead.. Sitting pretty on the couch or on the bed, Hyunjin turned himself into a doll whenever the vampire came into view.

LeeKnow didn't care much about the boy's behavior, the boy still ate and drank and even showered regularly, so he really didn't care with whatever the boy did, till one day after now four days..
Leeknow put down the tray of food on the table and turned to Hyunjin for the first time
"I'm going out, I have an errand.. so be a good boy don't think of anything stupid.. I think you know what I mean"
He brought his face closer to Hyunjin smirking "Your scent had imprinted on me.. I can find you anywhere anytime.. so. Don't. Get. Any. Ideas..."
And then left without waiting for any reply, cause he knows the boy won't say anything anyway.

Hyunjin stayed in his place till he heard a lot of doors opening and closing, the vampire really left. He got up wondering around the room, he understood what the vampire meant and if he tried he will get himself in trouble or....maybe he can get to his family and they will protect him.. and that sounded good.

Hyunjin stood in front of the main door thinking if this is the right thing to do and he didn't wait long, he slowly opened the door and lucky him it wasn't locked.. Hyunjin stood at the doorway.. minutes passed he still felt frozen.. more minutes and nothing happened.. then he bolted..

Anyone saw Hyunjin he knew the boy was running for his life and stayed away from his way.. he ran like he never ran before, streets he never saw before, faces he never met before but nothing would stop him now, he kept running, till he found a metro station, lucky he thought, but he has no money.. He walked through it, disheveled barefooted, he walked through the station not knowing what to do, he stood before the map and saw that he needs to ride through ten stations to get to his neighborhood but again no money, and people ignored him, he wasn't dirty or disgusting but anyone would look at him and realize that he is on the run from someone or something and people didn't wanted to get involved, he didn't blame them he would do the same.. Finally after a lot of waiting and thinking he decided to go back to the streets at least now he knows how much more running he needs to do..

Hyunjin was startled with a hand on his shoulder, he turned quickly to see an old lady looking at him, she was old and tiny, she said nothing but held out her hand with some money
"You want to go home?"
She said with a soft voice that melted the coldness in Hyunjin's heart, he found himself crying and nodding but she still kept a soft smile
"Your mama must be worried about you, I would if I had a boy like you.. take how much you want and hurry home."
Hyunjin was still crying and the woman had to grab his hand and put the money into it
"Go home.. before the monsters get to you"
She whispered and walked away, the word brought Hyunjin back to reality and he quickly wiped his tears and saw that he had more money than he needed, he turned to thank the lady but she was already climbing up the stairs so he just smiled and shouted "Thank you"
The lady waved without looking back shouting back with her tiny voice
"Go back home boy"
And Hyunjin did..

Leeknow walked out of the store with a gloomy face, he looked up at the stars that was hidden by the city lights, he hated that..
Leeknow kept walking around knowing now that heading home will make him more upset than he feels, what he knows now and what he had to do is too much for him, he needed a space to think and calm himself.. that's how he found himself walking to the woods that surrounded the city, it was dark and ominous at this time, but he wasn't afraid of anything.. after all he is a monster himself. The thought stopped him.. he is a monster, maybe he doesn't kill like the others but he still feed on humans and he's pretty sure the humans are forced.. He is a monster, isn't that what Hyunjin thinks of him.. Doesn't want to talk to him, or look at him, or touch him.. he is a monster.
what does he wants from a human like that boy.. Feed on him.. Play with him.. torture him.. or just watch him wither away his youth.. what does a monster wants from a human?
Leeknow looked up again at the sky now the stars are clearer, but his mind wasn't, his heart was heavier.. this should be the end of this little game.. he will turn back and he will set the boy free..
