8. Stay a lifetime

Days and weeks turned into months, Leeknow and Hyunjin became more closer to each other that it became harder to be apart.. whenever Leeknow had to leave for food or an event he was forced to attend, it was a challenge for both.

Hyunjin would stay in his room and read mindlessly, staring at the clock counting minutes and hours till Leeknow's return..

Leeknow too was more restless around everyone whenever he had to leave, always thinking and worrying about the boy alone in his apartment. What if someone decided to visit while the boy is alone? What if Hyunjin went out for something and got lost again? Leeknow knows now how reckless and naïve the boy is, that caused a lot of different scenarios would play in his head making him more worried..

"I'm not a child.. I'm an adult."
Hyunjin said frustrated when Leeknow told him no about going out alone
"Or am I a captive here"
LeeKnow just rolled his eyes and continued to cut the vegetables very small as Hyunjin always liked so he won't feel their texture in the food
"I guess we passed this point of accusations.."
"That's what I thought too.. but here you are telling me that I can't go."
Hyunjin was getting more angry and even though Leeknow can't see him, he can clearly hear him pacing around the living room.

"I just don't want you walking around and possibly getting into trouble... again.."
"IT WAS ONE TIME."
"TWO TIMES... or you think I don't know about the last time."
Hyunjin stopped pacing and felt his whole face blushing
"It wasn't a big thing.. I just got lost.."
"Again.. you got lost again.. and if it wasn't for my scent all over the clothes you were wearing those vampires would have taken you."
"But they didn't they brought me back here.. just like before... I know how to find my way back."
"No no no ... that's not.."
Leeknow sighed and walked to where Hyunjin was standing "You really think that you were smart enough to come back or the fact that both times you were just lucky because of me."
Hyunjin scoffed rolling his eyes
"Right.. my knight in the shining armor"

The dinner was quiet.. Hyunjin was eating without looking at Leeknow who also was avoiding looking at him..
LeeKnow has all the right reasons to be worried about him, he knows about what vampires attacks and malice are capable of... They will devour the boy in a heartbeat if they had a chance.. But Hyunjin is being childish and stubborn thinking that he can walk around without getting himself in trouble.

Hyunjin though think that Leeknow is being possessive and not allowing him to go out alone is just unfair.. He wasn't a child, he was living by himself and taking care of himself, besides he won't get lost now cause he memorized the roads when he was coming home the last time.. it was scary he admits it, he managed to convince Leeknow to let him go grocery shopping only to get lost on his way back, the vampires he asked them for help were scary, but they knew Leeknow's scent once they were close and decided to really help and not get themselves in trouble with the vampire.

"I have an idea.." Hyunjin slammed the table excited looking at Leeknow who looked back at him uninterested..
"We.. we go out.."
Now Leeknow was interested "we.. as you and me?"
"I don't see another we around.. you worried I would get lost, and I really really need to get out, I'm starting to lose my mind... so... we go out.. what do you think?"
"I think you have lost your mind already Hyunjinie."
Hyunjin slammed the table angrily this time
"Don't say that.. why?.. what's wrong with that."
Leeknow crossed his arms to his chest smirking "you want to walk around with me... me walk around with you.. do you really don't see how that will be?"
Hyunjin just shook his head confused..
Leeknow sighed getting up and walked over to the boy cupping his face ..
"Listen and think before talking back .. okay?"
Hyunjin just nodded
"I'm a vampire and you are my..."
LeeKnow waited for the boy to finish his sentence but the boy was really confused and thought for a moment "your grandson." Smirking playfully
LeeKnow squished the boy's cheeks more smirking "No...don't say that... to everyone else.. what are you to me..."
Hyunjin finally got it but didn't say it
"You are my doll Hyunjin.. so taking you out with me is okay I don't mind.. but you have to act this way.. dress this way.. can you do that Hyunjinie."
