Daycare Assistant

For that last hour of me being the night guard for that night went much quicker than I expected. And when it hit 6am, the lights flickered back to life which made me breathe easily. It's not like Moon stresses me out but he can get on my nerves quickly. I'm sure he didn't mean it though.. "Stop fighting me, brain." I muttered to myself as I picked up my keys and bag. "Y/N! Y/N!" Sunny calls for me before I even left the Daycare. I looked over and gave a small wave.

"Y/N! I got your rota of when you're meant to be here. You'll be working tomorrow morning from 6am to 11.30pm. Make sure to be here at 6am please! And no more alcohol because you're a Daycare Assistant/ Night Guard." Sunny tells me when I should be back plus no more drinking. I gave a stiff nod, feeling heat rise up into my cheeks, feeling ashamed. I was about to walk away and instead, I got pulled into a hug. A warm, gentle hug to be exact. "Thank you for the sleepover! We can't wait to see you tomorrow. Stay safe!" Sundrop pulled away happily dancing off to tidy up the massive room.

I blinked multiple times to figure out on what the actually fuck just happened. I exited out of the room and bumped into someone.. animatronic not a person. It's becoming difficult to know if they're a real person or an animatronic person. I thought, groaning at my own confusion. I looked up to see a beautiful looking animatronic. The white yet short feathers that cover this one's body whilst wearing one of those really ugly looking leotard from the 70s and 80s. I looked up at the animatronic and gave a shy smile.

"Oh hello small one! Oh my! You're Y/N!" This animatronic was basically jumping up and down with excitement because of.. me? I gave a confused look and not even knowing who this one is. She looks like a chicken though. "Oh! My name is Chica! I'm one of the four main animatronics on stage." Chica introduces herself.

"Oh! Hello, haha sorry. It's been a chaotic night and I'm a little bit sleep deprived." I smiled weakly. She gently pats my head and gave a nod of understanding. "Well you better go rest up. If you see F/N(1) make sure to say hi for me. I don't think she's working today." Chica explained a bit. I gave a nod and said my goodbye to Chica before leaving the building. When I got to my car, it felt strange. I'm not sure why but it felt like I'm in a stranger's car. And the urge of going back into the building was high.

"Oh stop it. I work there." I swore at myself and drove back home. When I got back in to the comfort of my own home and the welcome back from Loki, I felt the exhaustion swinging a bat at me. "Hello Loki.. let's get you fed and me to fall asleep in my bed." I talked to Loki, knowing I'll just get meows and not a human talking. So that's what I did. Fed Loki but had a shower before climbing into my comfortable bed which was cold to the touch since it wasn't been used for over 6 hours.

Although it didn't matter, as I hit the pillow, I was lights out for the rest of the day. I didn't realise how much I needed the sleep until I woke up to it being somewhat dark outside I didn't have a nightmare per se but it was a very strange one. Want to know what it was?

I fell in love with Sunny and Moon. Oh and get this, there was a night guard who took control of all of the animatronics. So Moon couldn't gain back the control and attacked me. Oh! And there's a fire. But it's alright, I didn't leave the building like any sane person would. "Fucking stupid weirdass dream." I checked the time and it was 5am. I gasped and rushed around in getting changed. Only to realise that I'll be seeing Sunny and Moon in less than an hour. I stalled as I made breakfast for myself. "No stop it. It was a dream." I told myself. And with that I looked at the time and felt a bit of relief.

I quickly put food in Loki's bowl and disappeared out of the house, locking it and getting into my car. I swear, if it wasn't because it's early in the morning, I would've gotten myself in a car crash. 5 minutes later and I was parking my car and got into the Fazbear building again. "It doesn't feel like I've gone home yet." I said to myself. I walked all the way to the Daycare doors and checked if it was locked. Again..? Are you for real? My eye twitched with annoyance so I looked at where the slide is and I sighed. "I hate this." I climbed into the slide and I shut my eyes as I go all the way down in the slide.

I hit the ball pit and I was thankful for the balls. I looked at my phone and it was 6am on the dot. Good timing I have. I grinned and felt proud of myself. I jumped out of the pit and looked around. In that timing, the lights flickered on and I was greeted by a golden yellow animatronic, "Hello Sunny." I plastered a smile, unsure about everything. Especially after that dream.

"Gooooood Morning Y/N! How is sunshine?" Sunny asked and luckily he didn't notice my fake smile. I gave a slow nod and looked around, not wanting to meet his eyes. I swear I felt my cheeks lightly burn a pink. "Just unsure if I'm cut out with being around kids." I gave an honest answer.

Sunny chuckled but he gave a worried expression when I wasn't looking at him. "Ignore Moon. He's defending this massive room and he will try and jab at wounds." In which I gave a nod. I'm hoping for the best for today.
