Stubborn - Sundrop / Moondrop x Reader

DJ!

*(We're back to Y/N's pov! I know last chapter was a bit different but it gave an insight from one of the character's.)*

Y/N POV:

I woke up with a stretch and it took me a moment to even realise that I'm not at home. I looked at my phone and it was saying it's 5.30am. Shit.. I scrambled sleepily out of the strange bed and started to make it when I got complained at by someone from the bed. It wasn't a cat. I would probably have turned into a ghost if cats can speak human language. I blinked my eyes for a few minutes, trying to get my eyes working.

I realised it was Moon. I yelped and I threw a pillow at the man. "Ow-! What the fuck, Y/N? Fuck sake.. if you haven't forgotten, you're at the daycare in mine and Sunny's bedroom?"

Moon did a reminder for me as he threw the pillow to the side. Then it all clicked and I was back to being pissed off with Moon. I'm waiting for an apology from Moon. So I walked out of the bedroom to go and see where Sunny disappeared off to. I heard a groan from behind me, meaning Moon got out of bed properly and coming towards me.. I think? I can't hear his movements. I peeked out of the curtains and saw that no lights were on. It usually is on about now. I went into a daze as my thoughts were whirling in my head.

This is where my guard was down. And I didn't predict this movement. I got hugged from behind. I tensed up and I was about to hit whoever it was behind me. "Don't.. I just want this hug without any fights. I'm sorry for pissing you off... twice."

Moon mumbled softly, too quiet for anyone to hear but I managed to catch what he said. I relaxed and I felt my cheeks burning up again. I can't explain why I feel this. I rested my hands on his arms. I still scanned the play room to figure out where Sunny went but I couldn't. I was getting worried. Moon must've figured out that I was worried because all of a sudden he stopped hugging me. My body tingled from the missing body that was against me but I didn't complain or anything.

"I don't know where Sunny is. Perhaps he's gone to clear up in the play area. It's almost 6am anyways." Moon shrugged. My jaw dropped and I went to grab my clothes for the day. I completely forgot that I wasn't ready. Luckily I knew where the staff shower room is so I went for the shower. Moon on the other hand just chuckled at my mishap with time and went down to go find Sunny. I let out a sigh as the warm water clings onto my hair and rolls down my face, going all the way down my body. My thoughts were everywhere.

I shivered at the memory which is forever carved into my mind of Moon hugging me like that. The memory stopped when I hear a muffled clanking sound. I snapped my neck to where the sound is coming from which was a vent. I was curious about the clanking noise but I decided to ignore it and finish using the shower. I grabbed my towel and dried myself off as the memory decided to swarm back in to the back of my eyelids.

But.. the clanking noise came back. I was getting irritated by two things. The memory and the clanking noise. I put on my clothes quickly as I could so I could find out where the sound is coming from. Almost immediately, I followed the sound back to the vent. I narrowed my eyes with concern. I lifted the vent door (luckily it was basically a floor vent.. I wouldn't have reached for a vent even if my life depended on it.) and I took a peek through.

Now I'm not sure about you, but I called out in the vent to seek out who's in there. Was it a mistake? Yes.. because I wasn't expecting a small wind up toy with his own mind. The small arachnid looking guy saw me and before I knew it I screamed quite loudly as he came at me. I was jump scared, this stuff always happens. Not only did Moon barged into the shower room.. but so did Sunny (who didn't look well..) and a completely new guy with headphones and sunglasses on. He looked exactly like the small guy that has now pounced onto my stomach.

"Lil' Music Man! Get off Y/N, you're scaring her." The male with sunglasses chuckled, crossing his arms together. I do mean his 4 arms. Not his main 2 arms. The lil' music man listened to the twin and get off me which I managed to get up quickly. I was embarrassed but I wasn't going to give anyone the satisfaction. "Sorry about my son.. he's a curious fella. Oh. You don't even know me. I'm DJ Music Man but call me DJ."

DJ strolled over to me and gave me a warm hug. He seemed so chilled out which was very relaxing. I didn't even the small music man was a kid. But I guess you learn something new everyday. I didn't introduce myself as he already knew me. Not sure how. I get out of the hug quite quickly as I saw the glares from the twins.

"Is there a reason why your son ran off?" I asked out of curiosity and DJ chuckled.

"He's nervous. The whole daycare are coming over to the dance floor of where I am. Including you, Moon and Sunny. It's one of the kid's birthday and he wanted both. A fair deal." DJ explained to me and a gave a shrug of what is happening for today. I let the information sink in and I gave a small smile.

"I guess so. Anyways I better check in. Thank you for saving me from your son." I gave a hearty laugh. And excused myself from the shower room. I glanced at Sunny one more time and he really looks out of it all. I wondered what was wrong...
