Stubborn - Sundrop / Moondrop x Reader

1 Month Later

Before I knew it. The month disappeared into oblivion. And like I said to F/N(1), I drank and wallowed in self pity. I mainly stayed indoors and drank. I didn't go out much mainly because I would get kicked out of the bar but I always woke up groggily and with pang of pain in my head from a hangover. F/N(2) was allowed out of hospital a couple weeks back but, he can't work for more over a few months because how badly damaged his hand is.

"Y/N! That's the 10th time your head went off into space." F/N(2) got exasperated and clicked his fingers with his good hand. It was weak clicks because the damaged hand was his dominant hand. "Oh! Sorry what did you ask me?" I asked him, giving an apologetic smile. He rolled his eyes and exhaled.

"I want you to work at the Pizzaplex. F/N(1) looked into it all and the two available positions are the Daycare Assistant and the Night Guard. And since the Daycare Assistance is with kids from 12 years and under.." I shook my head not wanting to work as an Assistant to keep an eye on strangers. But I realised it was too late. The grin from F/N(2) said it all. "And you're also going to be the night guard for a few nights a week. It's a way to cut down on your alcoholism." He adds. I gave him a death glare but it was too soft for him to even care.

"I hate you and F/N(1)." I said as if it was a normal occasion to say that. He shrugged it off and laughed knowing that it wasn't actually true. "Also I would like to tell you that, you start your night guard shift tonight. I'm surprised F/N(1) didn't give you a heads up." He went into deep thought after saying that, wondering why didn't our best friend not said a word about it all. I stood up in shock which snapped F/N(2) out of his own trance. "What time?" I asked with an alarmed tone.

"Oh at midnight til 6am." The relax tone didn't relax me at all, that was under 6 hours away. I walked back and forth, with anxiety raising every minute. "Relax, Y/N. I got you covered. I brought your night guard clothes with me. You only have two at the moment so don't destroy them." The reassurance actually helped and noticed the clothes right next to F/N(2).

"My size?" I asked and got the nod of confirmation. I slowly grabbed the clothes and run upstairs to quickly check if both fit. It took about 5-10 minutes to try both on and funny. They fit perfectly. "How the fuck are they so comfy.." I asked myself. I don't usually feel comfy in any of these type of uniforms. Which I usually get a pass in jobs. But I absolutely love this uniform. I bit my bottom lip realising that I'm going into work hungover on the first day.

"Oh shit! Why does the uniform suit you? Like fucking slay?" F/N(2) asked, absolutely surprised aswell as I was. I turned around a gave a wide ass grin. "Okay so what now?" I asked as we have 5 hours to kill. I observed F/N(2)'s facial expressions and he was deep in thought.

"Let's get you sober enough to work and not have a malfunction at work because I forgot to mention that your night shift is down in the daycare.. and the one you don't want to do is go against a specific animatronic whilst being in this hungover state.." He gave me a massive explanation and he was worried I could tell. I furrowed my eyebrows and wondered why the hell he was worried about. "Just to keep your worried mind off it all. Sure." I answered with, changing back into my normal clothes. Yes in front of F/N(2) but he and I don't and won't ever have a thing.

He's a brother from a different mother.  He gave a small smile and headed downstairs. I watched him disappear out of the room and wondered.. He must be in so much pain and hella worried for me. But what for?

I quickly left my room with my cat, Loki appearing next to my leg; nearly giving me a heart attack. "Nicely done, Loki. You'll be great for scaring people." I laughed and went downstairs and towards the kitchen as I heard slow movements of kitchenware being moved about. I watched what was happening and it looked like F/N(2) was making me my favourite, (insert beverage).

I looked at the times and it was going too fucking slow. Like fucking hell. Do take your fucking time, Time. I said in my head as I glanced upwards at the clock. I grumbled, wishing to have an alcoholic beverage instead of what I was having. "Let's kill time. I'll order in food and you choose a film." I talked out my idea. We both agreed and that's what we did. I ordered pizza and F/N(2) chose a movie which was almost 2 hours long. But my friend and I can watch another movie afterwards.

4 and a half hours later, and the movie had ended. Just in time actually. "I don't even know how you managed to find that horror movie in my dvd collection but you can keep it." I said through the credits. I was as pale as ghost. Not enjoying that almost 3 hour horror movie. No sir. Not one bit. F/N(2) laughed, "I thought it was great! The detail. The scary sounds. The acting. It was amazing! I forgot you didn't like horror movies." He continued to laugh and I rolled my eyes at him. "Y/N.. uhm.. I want to say.. be careful tonight. It's not one of those type of jobs you will be fine afterwards. And I uh.. no don't worry about it. We better get going. With me going home and you going to do your night shift." F/N(2) voice got serious for that moment and wasn't laughing at one bit.

I gave him a weird expression. "Yeah we both better get going." I answered back with. I got up immediately and taking the trash out to the bin before quickly getting changed upstairs into my night guard clothes and putting a bit of makeup on. I got downstairs and F/N(2) was already gone. I put food in Loki's bowl and saying goodbye to him. I was already becoming late. I rushed out and locked up my house before getting into my car and drove for a few minutes until I was in the Pizzaplex car park.

I looked up at the place and gave an exhale. "Let's see what you brought for me tonight, Pizzaplex.."
