"That's ridiculous."

"You're jealous."

"Why would I?"

"Why wouldn't you?" Kyle asked as he pop a cookie from my grandma's famous cookie jar.

"Just one, Kyle."

"Nah."

"My grandmother made that!"

"Your grandmother gave it to me."

"Selfish."

"Jealous."

"Fat ass."

He smirked. "Thanks. I never knew you were that kind."

I realized what I had just said.

"Ew!" I threw a pillow at his face making him yell.

"Don't do that, Astrid." My grandmother magically appeared behind the couch.

That's when Kyle fake cried. "She's been hurting me more and more these days, gran." He pouted. "Did you see how she brutally hit me with that pillow?"

Grandma looked at him with sympathy as she sat beside Kyle.

I rolled my eyes.

"Poor boy. There, there..." She patted his back.".... asshole."

I burst out laughing; I could piss my pants off.

"Ouch, gran!" Kyle held his chest where his heart was and held the cookie jar with his other free hand. "What was the hurtful word for?"

"For exaggerating, my love." Granny smiled mischeviously.

I love her so much.

I smiled and hopped beside Kyle. "Ha!" I shrieked. "Give me some, asshole- ouch!"

Grandma just slapped my hand as I was about to grab a cookie.

"What was that for, grandma?" I cried.

"Those are for Kyle." She said sternly.

Kyle fist pumped into the air. "Fuck yeah! And the unbiological grandson wins! Just like wha- ouch!"

Grandma slapped the back of Kyle's head which made me snicker to myself.

"What was that for, gran?" Kyle cried.

"Language, you shitty idiot."

With that I just couldn't help it. Kyle laughed with me as I wrapped my arms around her.

"I love you, grandma!" I squealed as I hugged her tighter.

She laughed and patted my back. "I love you too, sweatpea."

"Okay, a cute guy getting squashed here!"

"Don't ruin our moment, you shitty idiot." Grandma and I said in unison that made us all three laugh.

Kyle dramatically sighed. "Whatever you say, my loves."

I, then, felt another pair of arms around us. Muscular arms. Kyle's.

I smiled and brushed my cheek onto grandma's short hair as we both leaned on Kyle whom, which, I could feel smiling on my hair.

-

"For the win!" Kyle shrieks.

Grandma tsked she took a sharp turn to the right. "I wouldn't be so sure, pretty boy." She swerved her cart in front of Kyle's. Now she's leading and I'm on last.
