Clover

I kept running to the camp with pan not far behind me. if anything bad happened to the boys I knew it would be all my fault, they would hate me more.
I ran to the clearing of the camp to see all the boys knocked out and lying on the ground. pan stopped running beside me, making dirt and rocks go a little way up in the air.
I looked to pan, anger shown through his face and eyes clear as day.
He snapped his fingers an the lost boys were groaning and starting to get up.
"Who did this?!" pan yelled, Felix, now recovered, walked up to pan and I
" We're not sure, one second we're all up, next your here?" He replied
Pan growls
" The voice" I say staring off in the other boys direction
" What?" pan asks through his teeth
" It asked if I liked the powers and said that it'll be useful to save the boys" my voice calm, the opposite of what pan is right now
" What do we do?" asked Felix I looked to pan, a dark smile appeared on pans face
" Get the most strong boys, and find who did this" he growled Felix nodded and went to go do what me was told
" You" he started facing me "your going to the mermaids" he grabs my hand before I could question him.
Black suddenly takes us.
We appear at the pond in a second
" What was that?" I ask he smirked at me
" We teleported, dear" he walked closer to the water. stopping by some rocks, he bent over, grabbing a conch shell. bring it to his lips an blows in it.
But no sound came from it, I walk up to him, now by his side.
We both stare at the water, waiting. a minute later head pops out of the water, it was clovers. she swam closer to us, shivers go down my spine from remembering are last encounter.
" I need you to take Sarah to Laura, tell her to keep her there tell sun set, ill be here to get her" pan says "if she isn't back I assure you, you'll be sorry" he threats, clover nods looking at me.
Pan looks to me " go with her, you'll be safe" he whispers I look him then clover and nod.
Taking a deep breath I walk in to the water. once I'm at neck length, clover swims closer to me, holding out her hand. I slowly raise my hand and take hers.
She pulls me under the water, going deeper every second. she looks to me and I look at her. I was breathing under the water, earning a smile from clover.
I smile back to her, but both are friendly. I look to where we're swimming to. it looked like a dark hole in the tall coral wall. when we got closer it looked more like a cave.
We went through it and now clover was pulling my up. another cave opening was there.
Finally reaching it, we popped our heads out if the water. I look around, taking in the area. it looked like we were in some sort of cave, it had bright lights on the dark purple walls. we were in a small but deep pool of water.
I slowly climbed out if the water and on to the side. I positioned myself so I would be facing Clover.
I awkwardly wave at her and she nods.
" D-do you, talk?" I asked not want to sound rude
" Yes" she said simply " I'm sorry about last time" she said
" It's ok, I don't hold grudges. I'll get wrinkles" I joke and she chuckles
" When'd you learn how to breath under water?"
" A little while ago, apparently, I control fire, water, and, read/control minds" I sigh looking down
" That's cool, can you do a trick?" I look up at her and smile, I raise my hand causing the water to copy my actions.
I some how mold it in to looking like Clovers smiling face. I then turn it in to a tea pot then a car. I let my hand fall back to my side and look at Clover.
She looked surprised and in awe
" That's pretty cool" she whispers " oh! Laura" I look behind me to see Laura walking to us. wait- what?!
" L- Laura?! your w-walking?!" she nods and I hear clover chuckle " how?"
" Long story short I was given this bracelet, when I'm out of water my legs form" she smiled and sat next to me "why are you here, not that I don't enjoy your company?" I shrugged and looked to clover
" Pan said to keep her here tell sun set" Laura gave her a confused look at turned back to me
" May I see your hand, Sarah?" Laura asked I nodded and she took my hand in hers. she closed her eyes, clover just sat there looking at Laura. the only sound that could be heard was the water dripping in the cave.
Finally Laura reopened her eyes, but she was smiling unlike last time when she had tears.
" It seems your future has changed for the better" I let out a breath of relief that I didn't know I was holding. "at sun set I'll take you back to pan to inform him" I nodded
" She can breath underwater" clover says Laura nodded " can we, go swim?" I turn to Laura and she turns to me
" If its alright with you" I smiled and nodded before jumping back in to the water with clover " don't go to far and be back a few minutes before sun set" she called
We swam under the water and to the exit of the cave. when we were finally out I turn to clover. I decided to talk to her through her mind, since I can't talk underwater.
' Can you hear me?' I asked she jumped and pointed to me as if asking if that was me I nodded and smiled 'I can talk through minds'
' Testing testing one two three, can you hear me?' I laughed and nodded
' Damn, that's pretty cool!' she said 'want to go see the others?' I shrugged
' Why not' and she swam away and I followed
' Wait tell you meet them, they'll be happy not worrying about accidentally drowning you!' I chuckled and rolled my eyes. this is the most fun I've had since I got to this blasted island!

' Well, it was nice finally getting to know you' Christina said to me I nodded as me and clover exited her home, like Laura's it was a cave but an underwater cave, since Laura is the only mermaid on the island that can have legs.
Clover had introduced me to Christina and scarlet, who had been there the first time I went to pond, witch I now know is called mermaid lagoon. I had also met rose, she had brown short hair with emerald green eyes, and ruby who had long blond hair and bright blue eyes.
Clover and I, went back to Laura's home a few minutes before sun set, just like we were advised. popping are heads out of the water, we met Laura's eyes with a slight smile on her face.
" Right on time, girls" she said "no problems?" I shook my head and gave her a confused look
' She thinks I might try to hurt you again' clover whispers in the mind link I manage to make.
" Clover and I are friends, now." I turn to clover and back to Laura " we have a lot in common"
"That's good, we'll we should be going if we want to get there on time" she jumps into the pool of water with us and a minute later her head pops up.
I look down to see her tail, it was swimming like it had never left.
" Bye clover" I say she waves a hand at me before me and Laura duck under the water and take off.
Pushing our heads out of the water I looked up to the shore where pan had dropped me off. we were early, that's good, I think.
I walk the rest of the way to the shore, walking on the soft wet sand up to the dry sand.
My skin, hair,and clothes instantly dry off in seconds. I turn to Laura who's walking out to, her legs taking form. she was wearing a long purple skirt, she still had her sea shell bra on, all the mermaids had one, some were different colors.
She sat down on a big rock that was a few feet away from me. we were both looking to the trees, waiting for pan to arrive.
" Early, I see" his British voice says appearing in front of me
" Pan. I need to speak to you" Laura says he looks to her and shakes his head
" We have to get back before its to dark" he turns and starts walking but after two steps Laura speaks up again
" Her future changed" that made him stop in his foot steps slowly looking to her then to me
" Fine, stay here" he says to me as he walks over to Laura they start whispering and pans face looks shocked. I turn my head down and watch as a crab crawls on the sand. I try to read pans mind but its blocked, and so is Laura's. pan must have done it so I would here any of the conversation.

PAN'S P.O.V

" What's changed" I asked putting a protection spell on Laura's and mine thoughts just incase Sarah tried anything
" Her heart, it's not the only thing that can keep you alive and immortal, her love as well"
" What are you saying? that she has to love me to stop and break to hour glass?"
" Yes, and you must love her back, true love with stands any magic, spell or curse"
"Wouldn't it just be easier to take her heart?" she shakes her head
" Her powers are developing, getting stronger. it would be a fight to the death if you tried to take her heart"
I was shocked, who wouldn't be? plans have changed drastically.
" You have to love her and get her to love you" Laura finishes
