Diary,
Today I had an... eventful rescue mission.
A civilian called when she noticed an old wooden house on fire on the outskirts of the city.
Apparently, an old couple lived there and had some sort of cooking accident.
Why they called a flame hero to put out a fire, I have no idea, but I did my duty nonetheless.
I arrived at the scene to see the whole kitchen engulfed in flames with the old couple hiding in the living room. I put out all the flames on my body before entering, as to not make the situation worse.
Before someone with a water quirk arrived, all I could do was help the people inside to safety and save a few if their more valuable possessions.
Their house was mostly burned down by the time the more suitable pro heroes got there.
For some reason, it's my job to find the couple a new home, since I was the only hero present while their house burned.
If it weren't for that incompetent civilian who called me instead of a water hero...
At least I have a whole agency of sidekicks to do my work for me.
Another downside is a whole swarm of reporters and pro heroes seeing me without my flame beard.
I had put it out during the rescue and had forgot to relight it. So I won't even look my best in the pictures that will be in tomorrow's news.
I bet the media will make it look like my fault again.
Moving on.
Tonight Shoto invited his two 'friends' over for dinner. Natsuo refused to attend so it was just me, Fuyumi, Shoto, Midoriya and that angry boy that got first place during the sports festival.
Speaking of Fuyumi, there's definitely something going on with her.
Istead of making sushi or soba, like she always does when Shoto has guests over, she ordered food.
Shoto didn't say anything about it but I'm sure he noticed too.
And during the whole dinner Fuyumi didn't say a word to me. She interacted fairly normally, even cheerfully, with our guests. I did hear her say expressions and words I've never heard her use before though.
Maybe she's been hanging out with the wrong people lately.
I'll try to get to the bottom of this. Maybe I'll talk to Rei.
Until tomorrow, I suppose
