Diary,

Today I had the day off.

All my sidekicks are still at work at my agency of course, my paperwork won't do itself you know.

I heard they found a nursing home for that old couple that lost their house to the fire. I'm glad that that's finally been taken care of.

Since I didn't gave any patrols or hero meetings, I decided to visit Rei. I wanted to talk to her specifically about how Fuyumi has been acting strange recently, so I took a bouquet of her favourite flowers to her at the hospital she's staying at.

When I entered, I was surprised to see Shoto already there, sitting next to her bed and talking with her.

He was less that I overjoyed to see me, but agreed to let me stay nonetheless (not that he tells me what to do, but I'm sure Rei would have sided with him if he told me to leave).

It turns out Shoto already told her about Fuyumi's strange behavior. He thought, like me, that Fuyumi had been hanging out with shady people, possibly even villains.

But Rei pointed out the possibility that she might be under the influence, like mind control for example, of a villain.

It's improbable, but worth looking into I suppose.

The rest of our conversation was awkward to say the least, but I think I'm making progress with her.

Time will tell.

I had planned to spend the rest of the day at home, but my incapable sidekicks informed me, soon after I left the hospital, that there was an emergency and they needed me at the agency.

There had been some sort of break in and important files had been stolen. I investigated and discovered that three files had gone missing- two about the League Of Villains and our recent leads on them and one about me.

The third one wasn't too important, just about my most impressive missions, information about the pro hero Endeavor and my family.

But the first two were extremely valuable. Luckily, the criminals didn't think to delete the digital copies so I was able to retrieve those but it remains a mystery as of why and how the culprits did what they did.

As soon as I got home, I got a call from Fuyumi's school. They said that she had been absent all day and wouldn't answer her phone.

I looked at home for her, but she wasn't here either.

It just keeps on getting stranger and stranger...

Hopefully I'll have more news on the matter tomorrow.
