Diary,

The truth had been revealed at last.

This morning I demanded to know why Fuyumi has been acting so strange recently. At first, she kept denying any abnormal behaviour. But then I gave multiple examples of how different from her usual self she's been. Then she seemed to give up and drop the act.

Her skin appeared to be melting and took on a clay-like texture and colour. I watched in horror as my daughter slowly turned into Toga, Himiko.

Smiling all the while, her body, face and voice changed into that of the League of Villains member.

I should have known it was her- the LOV spotting, her skipping school, acting odd, being unable to cook and asking me about other pro heroes.

Toga, still dressed in my daughter's clothes, took out a hidden knife and charged at me. We fought in the middle of the living room, knocking over furniture as we did so. I was avoiding using my fire as to not burn the house down. Toga had the advantage.

I demanded for her to tell me where Fuyumi was, but she only giggled and thanked me for all the useful information I'd given her.

Natsuo was at college and Shoto was at school, so I had no back-up. Not that I wasn't capable, but my quirk wasn't suited for this type of fight.

Toga tried to escape but I blocked the exit. I couldn't let her get away, especially with all the information I'd unknowingly given her (if she hasn't already passed it along).

I managed to get to my phone and sent a distress signal to the first person in my contracts. I hoped it was someone useful, but I didn't have time to check.

Toga was quick and agile as she kept trying to stab me. All I could do was shoot narrow streams of flames at her which she easily avoided.

A few minutes later, help finally arrived. Hawks ran quietly up behind Toga and enveloped her in a flurry of red feathers. She had been occupied with me so she hadn't seen the attack coming. As she fought viciously to get away, she managed to throw her knife.

After that she was imidiatly immobilized but the knife flew at me before I could react. I managed to dodge a little so that it didn't hit any vatal organs, but I still got a good-sized cut on my arm.

We then took her to the authorities to be questioned. I'll let you know how that goes tomorrow.
