Chapter Seven : Baby

"HI, I DIDN'T know we had a guest. Brother why don't you introduce me to your friend here?" Totally ignoring my presence, she seductively plays with her blond hair and speak in the most sweet sickening manner ever, I almost gag and wrinkle my face in nauseous.

"This is Taylor, his the one who moved in in the house down the street." Zayden reluctantly informed, weary of his sister's antics. She strides to Taylor swiftly with her breast tossed way too forward to seduce the guy. Disgust is all over my face as I watch what unfolds in my view.

"Hey handsome, I'm Breanna but you can call me Bre." She winks at the six foot guy, leaning next to the island counter situated in the middle of the white spacious kitchen. Taylor just nods his head boredly, and turns to Zayden whose mortified at his sister's actions.

"If you need anything, you know where to find me." She completes her

The callous girl walks back to her room not forgetting to sneer at me before swaying her hips like a constipated horse, the nauseous hit me stronger than before. I need to use the bathroom.

"Liana, I hope you don't mind Taylor joining us, right?" I can't say no even if I wanted to, spending hours with Taylor it's not what I planned for especially after he literallypuncjed me with his words. Not having much of a choice, I forced a smile and replied with a yes before excusing myself.

Bolting to the bathroom that is adjcent to the guest room I always sleep in whenever I come here for a night. I bend down on the white toilet seat and churn the contents of my stomach out.

After minutes of hurling my guts out, I rinse the sour and bitter taste of the vomit on my mouth. I look at my reflection in the silver framed mirror above the basin, the light brown strings all over my face hiding the ghostly bags under my grey hallow eyes. I haven't been getting enough rest these past few days, the nightmares haunt me every time my eyes close. Dad, I miss you.

I moisture my lips and apply the lip balm mom gave to me a month ago. I smile, remembering how she used to scold me for not taking care of my appearance, how I need to start wearing clothes that fit properly like a lady.

"Liana, make haste, I've already prepared the snacks and we are about to begin the movie." Zayden exclaims, nearing the bathroom I'm in. He knocks three times before popping his head in, a goofy smile on his face.

"Hey, are you okay?" The smile drops and worry consume his cute face making my heart flutter.

"No I'm all fine, just dizzy. Let's not leave Taylor alone, so shall we?" I give him my hand and he holds it with no hesitation, I'm definitely screwed.

We walk hand in hand to the movie room, where I see Taylor's black straightened hair. I'm still embarrassed about what happened today and a till bit ang6for his sudden rudeness.

Before we can let him know of our presence, Zayden stops walking and I turn to know why he did only to see him looking at me with worried eyes.

"If you want to rest, you know where my room is, you don't have to watch the movie with us if you don't feel alright, okay?" His warm hand find my cheek and soothe it with care, looking at the light brown orbs of his eyes, a genuine smile spread on my lips before nodding my head in keeping what he said on mind.

He leans in and softly kiss my forehead, my eyes close from the contact as I feel his soft lips on my skin and all I can think of is to pause the moment and make it last forever.

"Sorry to interrupt, but the movie is about to begin." A deep voice announces slapping me back from the daze, he looks blankly between me and my best friend slash crush. My cheeks turn crimson when I realize what he could possibly be assuming.

"Come on." Zayden holds my hand and walk us to the red comfortable sits, some loaded with snacks. My eyes stop at the six cupcakes wrapped with a see-through plastics. Plumping on the sofa I eagerly reach for the goods without care in the world and I start munching while my eyes get engrossed in The Transformers New Movie.
