My heart pounded in my chest like a sledgehammer. My eyes darted wildly across the room. Hydrinn rushed over to me and kneeled by me.
"What's going on?" she asked, her lavender eyes filled with concern.
I sucked in air rapidly trying to catch my breath. My hands were tingly and my Ender Pearl was glowing brightly.
"Did you have a bad dream or something? Tell me what's wrong." The morning sun reflected off of her wavy hair.
"We," I swallowed. "We need to get out!" I whispered harshly as I gripped onto the neck of her shirt. I could see her heart pounding through her chest.
"Sshhh." she tried to calm me down. "You're okay. Don't worry." she assured me.
I shook my head vigorously. "No! No no no! We're not safe. We're never safe! Something's following us!" It was if something possessed me and started controlling what came out of my mouth.
"She knows! Even ask! She knows," I felt a wave of fear wash over me. "It knows..." I shivered.
At that moment I noticed the dragon was missing. My head swiveled around quickly in attempts to find him. She probably took him!
I jumped to my feet and tripped over my sleeping bag only to fall back down. I scrambled around to get up and started running down the hallway to the witch's room.
My mind blocked out the sound of Hydrinn's feet behind me as she ran over to restrain me. She can't stop me!
I threw my body at the warped door and started banging on it. Hydrinn grabbed onto my shoulders and pulled me back. I threw her away from me and slammed against the door again.
Hydrinn's screams were muted. The only thing I could hear was the violent buzzing reverberating through my skull. My eyes burned with intense fury.
"Open the damn door!" I screamed as I pounded my fist against the wood. "Give him back!"
The door started to crack from the brute force of my attacks. I crammed my hands into the cracks to break the door. Splinters stabbed into my hands and sweat dripped down my forehead. Hydrinn tried pulling me back, but I was too solid and strong.
I punched a hole through the door, hitting the witch who was holding the door shut. The door swung open and I fell on the floor.
I scrambled to my feet and started toward the witch. I stopped suddenly and looked around the room. The cabinets rattled as I ravaged through them.
"Where is he?" I said sternly as I opened and closed drawers.
"W-wha?"
"Don't play stupid with me! Where the hell is my dragon?" I screamed in her face.
"I-I haven't-"
I grabbed her by the collar of her cape; my black claws ripping through the material. "Where is he? Where is my dragon?" The witch choked as my grip became tighter.
"And what about that whole thing last night, huh? I suppose you don't know about that either!" My black fangs extended downward as I grew taller.
"You know where he is! I know you do! Give me my dragon, you bitch!" I screamed in her face.
Her eyes glazed over with fear and her mouth gaped open in attempts to breath.
The sound of cracking wood shattered from behind and I whipped around. My head smashed and my back splintered and the darkness spread across my vision as I fell to the floor.
