"Where you goin'?
Come on, I'm on sunset, yeah.
You're doing donuts right up my street.
Yo, what's the hold up?
Pull up on me."
-Kenzie
Our flight to Singapore is probably the most luxurious we've had so far. Even if we were in Economy we still got a really good meal and they even gave out these little wine bottles Ren ended up saving in her bag.
I'm barely awake while we make our way through customs and on the way to the hotel, because I stayed up so late with Daniel last night. I don't know how he does it, but he's gotten very good at hiding from cameras and fans. He came up to my room in Bahrein dressed in baggy jeans and a bucket hat, and a t-shirt from his new merch collection, I really don't know how he hasn't been caught yet.
He arrived with two paper bags, I told him I was craving a chicken wrap or something of the sort, he brought in the best wrap I've ever had, along three different types of amazing salads, a wrap for himself and three orders of French fries. Everything was so good, I love how he takes care of me even in that sense.
We stayed up late literally talking for hours. Not even about deep things, we were just talking nonsense, he really helped me take my mind off work for a while. And he really doesn't know how much I thank him for that. We also had the occasional make-out session break. He left around two in the morning, and we had a long goodbye full of kisses and hugs that last a little longer than normal hugs, but that I still want them to last a little longer, and he said we would have to meet either really early, really late, or during the race because he has a lot of PR this week. And I mean, that's alright, that's what we've been doing lately. We really haven't had a full day together since Australia. But hopefully during the free week after this race we can figure something out.
"Stop daydreaming, roomie." Ren snaps me back to reality, bumping into my arm. I sigh and smile over at her.
"I'm not." I completely lie, but she can already tell from the stupid smile on my face.
"Yeah, I'd be daydreaming too if I was getting dicked down by a beautiful man every night." I immediately feel my face go red, for absolutely no reason because no one is getting dicked down.
"That is so not true, we just had dinner and talked for hours." I say while we walk across the lobby with Alex.
"Well just in case...I've been meaning to give this to you." Alex joins the conversation and just as we step into the elevator, and he opens up his backpack to reveal a supermarket plastic bag, and hands it to me.
It's a bag completely full of condoms. And I'm flabbergasted and I really hope no one saw that, thankfully the elevator doors start closing before I flip out.
"Oh my God, Alex. This is unnecessary, I...we haven't, you know. We haven't, okay?! Leave me alone!" I can only see their faces turn red with laughter. I almost drop them but I didn't, imagine if the doors opened and Eleanor or another director found me on the floor picking up about fifty condoms. I'd be mortified.
"It's just in case baby, come on. You can't treat an STD on the road. And drivers can be quite the players, just saying." Alex puts his arm around my shoulder as we walk to our rooms, I'll be with Ren and Alex will be by himself.
I feel nervous about having this huge bag of condoms on me, but...I mean, better safe than sorry, right? So I quickly stash them away at the bottom of my suitcase. And try not to think about it much, because I don't think Daniel and I are there yet.
