Superboy turns back and sees the look of shock and disbelief on Kid Flash, Aqualad and Robin's faces; but the other seven superheroes just whisper at each other as Superboy smiles a little seeing that he was actually able to impress them alas this shined moment is cut short as Wonder Woman appears on the main computer inside of the room
Wonder Woman:[Wonder Woman to Justice League, there's been an explosion at Project Cadmus]
Batman takes a step forward clearly already forming a plan in his head as he tells the other members who are behind him
Batman:I've had my suspicions about Cadmus. This may present the perfect opportunity to in--
But another superhero appears on screen but in a more miniature square on the big screen below Wonder Woman
Zatara:[Zatara to Justice League. The sorcerer Waton is using the Amulet of Attan to blot out the Sun, requesting a full League response]
Batman looks back at Wonder Woman awaiting her answer about Project Cadmus as she simply nods her head
Wonder Woman:[It's a small fire, the local authorities have it under control]
Batman replies by nodding his head in agreement seeing that there were more pressing matters to attend to
Batman:Then Cadmus can wait
The Dark Knight presses the left side of his cowl and sends out a message to every single member of the Justice League
Batman:All Leaguers rendezvous at Zatara's coordinates, Batman out
Kid Flash, Aqualad and Robin all make their way over to their mentors prepared to help deal with this looming threat but they are stopped by Batman saying
Batman:Stay put
Robin looks more shocked then the two other as the Boy Wonder asks his mentor
Robin:What? Why?
Aquaman steps in to explain that it is something for the Justice League to handle as the fastest man alive adds to what Aquaman is saying
Flash:You're not trained--
Superboy wanted to say something but deep down he knew why this was happening and it was understandable in his eyes as he hears Kid Flash cut his mentor off with a bit of a raised tone
Kid Flash:Since when?
Kid Flash feels a hand on his shoulder as the teenager turns his head back to see Superboy calmly explain
"I think what Flash means is that we're not trained to work with the Justice League, who have had years of experience working together and they don't want to be worrying about us when we're out in the field"
Once again the seven superheroes find that response to make complete sense to even them as Batman adds in
Batman:There will be other missions but for now stay put
The other six Justice League members all follow Batman to the room held for Justice League members only as the doors slide open ultimately leaving the sidekicks behind in the main room as an upset speedster voices his thoughts
Kid Flash:When we're ready? How are we ever supposed to be ready when they treat us..like sidekicks
Aqualad lowers his head clearly upset at the man who had trained him to be to where he is to be only just to be set on the sidelines
