The zeta-tube beams brightly inside of the hovering space station known as the Watchtower that orbits over the world that they protect as Superboy steps out and feels a slight bit of nausea from it
It was like his entire skeleton was being sent through first then the rest of him; hopefully he'd be able to get used to it given how frequent this thing was going to be used in the future, nonetheless Superboy spots Wonder Woman up ahead talking to Hawkgirl
The Amazon hums as she turns her head to see Superboy and excuses herself from her conversation with Hawkgirl and makes her way over to Superboy; she holds out her hand as the clone of steel shakes it
Wonder Woman:Thank you for arriving so quickly, Superboy. I'm glad to see you on better terms..
She says referring to the Cadmus incident that happened not to long ago; Superboy pulls away from their handshake as Wonder Woman continues
Wonder Woman:I heard Cassie is fitting in nicely with the others, is that true?
The Amazon had that protective yet curious glint in her eyes as Superboy reassured Wonder Woman
"Yeah. She's fitting in well, I wish I could say more but I was called here. Speaking of which, could you tell me why?"
Wonder Woman nodded her head already liking now Superboy was getting straight to business, it showed his professionalism and his curiosity.
Wonder Woman:Of course. As you know, we have been talking to Atlee about her time in Cadmus. She's been cooperating and telling us as much as she can remember..
The two of them start to walk down the hallway of the Watchtower as Superboy gets some friendly waves and nods from the many heroes residing in the orbiting space station
Wonder Woman:But to keep things simple, she wanted to see you. We can't exactly let her go yet so we came to a compromise..
They both stop walking as they reach a metal door as Wonder Woman knocks on it, the metal doors slides open revealing Atlee as her eyes land upon Superboy; a huge smile plasters itself all over her face as Superboy smiles back at Atlee clearly glad to see her again
Wonder Woman:I will give you two some privacy..
She walks away and decides to come back later as Atlee almost immediately runs over to Superboy and jumps into his arms as he quickly catches her and spins her around for a bit before setting her back down
"It's good to see you, Atlee.."
Atlee only giggles in response as she grabs his right hand and leads him to the couch as they both sit down; Superboy takes a quick glance around the room they have been keeping her in
And as far as he could tell, it was pretty standard room with the exception of the ordinary necessities for a human being but he wanted to be sure just in case
"Are they treating you well here?"
Atlee nods her head 'yes' as she tells him what occurred in her time here; she was questioned by Wonder Woman or Black Canary with Batman rarely stepping in for two hours a day and was fed properly along with a good shower and bed rest
Atlee:Superman stopped by when he could..he mentioned you alot, he's really proud of what you're doing
Superboy couldn't help but chuckle to himself, the bond between him and the Man of Steel was greatly improved then it would've been in the original show where they hardly talked to each other
