𝖡𝖾𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝖠 𝖡𝖾𝗍𝗍𝖾𝗋 𝖢𝗅𝗈𝗇𝖾 (Harem)

11.Going Up Against The Brute

[I wanna clarify that Artemis will not be apart of the harem nor do I ever intend on her being considered to be in it, so yeah]

The large green scaled brute is met by a double uppercut from Superboy as he stumbles back yet instead of being angry, the Abomination merely grins at the clone of steel and claps his hands together sending a thunder clap which sends Superboy flying back into some rubble; Superboy buries his feet deep into the ground to stop himself from flying any further as a looming shadow grows closer from above

Superboy looks up at the last second and sees Abomination getting ready to slam both of his fists down on him with every intention on crushing him as he manages to catch the two large fists; Abomination only presses down as Superboy grits his teeth feeling the immense power and weight behind those fists

'(Damn it. I should've been more prepared to fight someone seriously strong, I got too caught up in it all..)

Superboy is kneed in the stomach which causes his grip to loosen enough for Abomination to grab the clone of steel by his head and repeatedly slam him into the ground again and again; Superboy manages to land a kick to Abomination's chest allowing him to get free from the green scaled brute

Abomination:I thought you were strong like him! But you're nothing but a failure! A thing pretending to be hu---

Abomination is met by Superboy punching him straight in the face as the brute it sent flying back alas Superboy does not stop there as he uses his super speed to chase after Abomination and land several swift and powerful punches all over Abomination's chest and stomach

Superboy appears behind Abomination and grabs him mid-air and pulls a suplex as they both hit the ground hard; through the large crater in the ground we see Superboy clench his fists with real anger radiating off of his eyes yet through it all, Abomination stands back up despite the blood coming out of his mouth

Abomination:Cute. You think anger is going to help you? Ha! You are more foolish than I thought!!

Abomination brings his foot down as it cracks the ground and sends a wave of destruction at Superboy; Abomination rips off pieces of the ground and throws chunks of them at the clone of steel luckily Superboy is able to knock some out of the way unfortunately Abomination planned for this

As Superboy was by Abomination hitting him with a mean uppercut that sent him rocketing up into the air, Abomination grabbed Superboy by his shirt and pulled him closer as they began to plummet back towards the ground below as Abomination just heatbutted Superboy over and over

"Back. The. Hell. OFF!!!"

Out of nowhere the Abomination was struck by heat vision from Superboy himself but he didn't acknowledge it as he let the anger inside of him take control; Abomination was pushed further down by the heat vision as you hear the brute screaming out in pain, a loud *KATHOOM* echoed throughout the battlefield as Superboy pinned Abomination against some rubble and let the anger flow through his veins

It empowered every single punch that landed on the Abomination; blood spilled all over the ground as the scales on Abomination's chest began to chip away from each punch that he continued to endure, Abomination was somehow able to block one of Superboy's punches but the pissed clone only snapped the arm backwards with this newfound anger

The punches began to slow down as the Abomination fell to his left as Superboy finally saw the damage he had inflicted upon the green scaled brute; teeth were scattered, blood covered most his once green body, the scales had been chipped away from his skin and Abomination was in too much pain to even more

Superboy panted heavily as he felt tired from all of the energy he had used just from his sheer rage; out of the corner of his eye a dark red portal appeared out of nowhere as Vandal Savage steps out seeing the battlefield and Superboy standing right in front of him

Vandal:Impressive. I did not think you'd come out as the winner but I seem to have underestimated you..

Superboy knew just how dangerous Vandal Savage and what he was capable as he wasted no time and used his super speed to grab the immortal man but was struck from behind by a green beam that resembled kryptonite as Superboy fell to his knees; the clone of steel was able to see who fired that shot and it was none other than Sportsmaster with a rifle that had kryptonite as its power source

Vandal:We will see each other again real soon, Superboy...

Not wanting for either one of them to escape, Superboy grits his teeth and slowly starts to get back up as Vandal raises an eyebrow clearly impressed by Superboy's determination alas Superboy is blasted again by the kryptonite beam as he falls to the ground, the last thing he sees is Vandal Savage, Sportsmaster and Abomination all be magically teleported away

Get up. You have so much more to achieve..

Superboy jolts up as he immediately starts to look around as he finds himself back in the medical bay of the Watchtower, he was surrounded by solar lamps which explained why he wasn't as tired as last time; he takes off the wires connected to his chest and sets them aside as he gets up from the bed as the doors slide revealing a stunned Atlee

"Atlee. Hey I---"

He didn't even finish his sentence as she jumps into his arms as he is able to catch her at the last second; he hears her quietly sobbing as he pulls away from the hug and wipes the tears away with his thumb

Atlee:When Batman and the others found you, I thought--they said that...

Superboy doesn't say anything as he pulls her back into the hug and let's her cry; he didn't want to die that was an absolute certainty but he also couldn't push himself beyond the limits of this body, he had to get stronger in order to survive what followed throughout the years

"I'm here, Atlee. I promise you that I am not going anywhere.."

Atlee sunk herself into his embrace as Superboy continously reassured her that he was going to recover from the fight and be right back to normal; still he had questions regarding why someone like Vandal Savage sent the Abomination after him? Was it because he destroyed Project Blockbuster? Was this the universe creating a replacement for his actions?

The holographic screen popped up as Superboy could see that there was still one more quest that he had to do and it was to meet the 'traveler' whoever that person was but for now; in this moment all that mattered was hugging Atlee, the rest could surely wait for now
