Once Sonic's blue eyelids slowly rose up and revealed an extremely tired emerald irises, all the hedgehog could see was just a big bright blur surrounding him. On one side of the room, he was placed in, the brightness was the strongest there and made him squint his eyes, then turn his head in the opposite direction to block it out.

Groaning in displeasure he discovered another scary fact - his entire body was aching and he could barely move! Several minutes later his vision finally sharpened and let him see his surroundings.

The walls all around the room were decorated by a framed pictures and some decorations, but most obvious feature were the wallpapers with a pillar pattern printed on them covering the entire room. It made Sonic feel like he was in some sort of temple. However, the room itself was rather cozy and warm, consisting of a big wardrobe in the corner next to the rich looking wooden door, a simple round table with two armchairs sitting by it, a nightstand next to the queen sized bed with an old, majestic radio sitting on top of it and oddly enough, a wooden heavy chest framed by metallic plates resting right under the windowsill.

The chest was a thing, that caught Sonic's attention the most. Him being an adventurer, he instantly wondered, what's inside. He attempted to hopefully move at least his arms, which he succeeded at, but it took him some effort. Releasing a sigh of hopelessness he looked around the room again, his eyes finally getting used to the bright light coming in from the window, which also looked unlike any ordinary window of a casual house. Just where exactly was he?

His spiral of thoughts got cut off by the wooden door suddenly moving open, followed by a strange, ebony furred male hedgehog with crimson stripes decorating various parts of his body.
"You're finally up," the stranger spoke in calm, soothing voice, entering the room further he quietly closed the door behind him and approached the poor injured blue ball of fur and quills.

"W-where am I? Who are you? A-and what happened?" Sonic instantly showered the stranger with questions, trying to press himself to the huge pillow he laid on, covering himself with the warm blanket given to him during his unconscious state.

"Calm down, please. You're safe here. You have been attacked by a pack of wolves, I saved you and brought you to my mansion," the stranger explained to him calmly.

"D-did you.... also patch me up?" Sonic squeezed the question out of himself with an embarassing feeling filling his core.
"I had to somehow treat your wounds... I'm sorry to say this, but.. you're going to have a terrible scars after these deep bite marks," the ebony male replied in worried tone and Sonic glanced down at his body while lifting the blanket, seeing his chest wrapped in a bloodied bandages.

Except for that, also his left wrist and right foot were wrapped in the bandages and he wore just a simple pants, which felt comfortable though.
"Your clothes were completely destroyed, so I provided you some of mine. Hope you don't mind," the stranger explained, when he saw the grimase on Sonic's face.

The blue hedgehog also blushed now upon the realization, that the other hedgehog had to strip his damaged clothes off of him and exchange the pants for his own.....
"U-uh...thanks?" he mumbled in an unsure tone and the stranger surprisingly smiled at him, most likely being amused by his reaction.

"You're welcome. I picked a pile of some more clothes here for you," he pointed out the pile of clothes he held in his hands and placed it on the bottom part of the big bed before turning around and walking to the door.
"Wait! Where are you going?" Sonic reached out his healthy hand in an attempt to stop the hedgehog from leaving.

The stranger stood in front of the door, his hand already resting on the cold door handle.
"To make a breakfast for you. Anything you prefer?" he turned his head to look at the other over his shoulder. Sonic relaxed his hand on his stomach and thought for a moment.
"Eggs and bacon would do, please. And by the way, I'm Sonic," he replied and suddenly decided to introduce himself to him.

The ebony male nodded curtly and opened the door.
"I'll return in a bit, Sonic," he replied before disappearing in the hallway, closing the door behind him and since then letting the silence take over the room.

Sonic inhaled to either respond or ask him something, but never got a chance to do so, for the hedgehog was quickly gone.
"Huh... why is he so mysterious?" he whispered to himself and sighing he gathered as much strength as he could to sit up and lean back against the big pillow. Now, that he thought of it, it reminded him of some royalty stuff. Big bed, big pillow, rich and warm comfy blanket....

He recalled the stranger's words about being brought to his mansion. He was in a mansion. His eyes widened and he quickly searched for his phone, luckily finding it on the nightstand, neatly resting there. Sonic paused for a moment and raised a brow over the fact. This hedgehog seemed to like everything clear and perfect, it seemed. Sonic just hoped, that the hedgehog isn't some kind of typical rich snob, who would be arrogant and think, that he's in a superior position above everyone else. Wearing his nose super high and wanting everything to be perfect like he himself might think he is.

Shaking the unwanted thoughts away he grabbed his phone and checked its battery condition. Only 20%!
"Ohhh no... no, no, no...," he slightly panicked and despite the pain shooting through his chest from the huge bite mark on his side he still fully sat up and hung his legs over the edge of the bed, so he could search through the drawer of the nightstand in hopes of finding his charger.

And there it was, needless to mention how perfectly well it was sitting there on top of some pile of empty papers. Grabbing the charger Sonic then noticed a wall plug right between the bed and the nightstand, so he plugged the charger in it and connected the other end with his phone, which started consuming the electric energy, that the battery so desperately needed.

"Phew... hm?" Sonic let out a sigh of relief, but then felt something hot on his chest, looking down he nearly fainted from the sight of his own blood seeping through the bandage on his side and realized, that he might have reopened the gash there with the movements.
"Crap, crap... what now?" he started panicking, his heartbeat accelerated and he looked frantically around the room, not getting the idea to call for help at the moment.

Fortunately, as if on cue, the ebony male came back with a tray of food, only to witness the sight, which shocked him to some degree. Placing the tray on the round table he quickly approached the blue hedgehog and saw what happened.
"You stupid hedgehog! You shouldn't move so much... ugh, come!" he growled at Sonic and then grabbing him by the healthy wrist he led him out of the room, swiftly taking him to the bathroom next door. Sonic followed him clumsily and tried his best to not push too much body weight on his injured foot in the process.

Once in the bathroom, the ebony male pushed Sonic down to sit on a stool while getting a med-kit and opening it he went to work on re-cleaning and re-bandaging Sonic's side. The blue hedgehog groaned in response and stubbornly frowned at the male.
"I could have taken care of it myself!" he growled, earning a little chuckle from the ebony hedgehog, which irritated him further.

"Sure, you absolutely looked like that," the stranger replied nonchalantly and precisely wrapped the new bandage around Sonic's bare chest after the wound has got cleaned.
"Hmpf!" Sonic huffed and rather looked around the - of course, unsurprisingly anymore - big bathroom. It had both a bathtub and a shower cubicle, a simple toilet, two sinks with oval framed mirrors resting on the wall above them, a counter with cabinets hanging above it and even a washing machine in the corner on the door side of the whole room.

The ebony male soon finished the process, gathering the stuff back to the kit he closed it with a single satisfying click and put it on top of the said counter before facing the blue hedgehog.
"Feeling better?" he asked with care lacing his tone. Sonic even slightly flinched upon the voice suddenly speaking to him, looking at his mysterious savior he nodded and with his help he carefully stood up.

"Thanks," he uttered quietly and followed the stranger back to the bedroom.
"Your desired eggs and bacon, also with an addition of a sandwich and orange juice," the ebony male pointed at the tray on the round table, which Sonic perked ears up at and instantly approached the table in a super speed, sitting down in one of the armchairs he felt his mouth watering at the appetizing scent and appearance of the meal.

"Thanks again.... uh, I never got your name tho..?" he turned his gaze to the ebony male, who was once again gone, so Sonic practically spoke to a thin air. Sighing in displeasure he lowered his ears and half lidded his eyes.
"Oh, of course... disappear..," he complained with a scoff, but then returning his attention to the meal he decided to forget about it and just focus on feeding.
