Just a few minutes after Shadow sat comfortable on a couch in the library, Silver appeared next to him and descended towards the couch to take a seat there.
"Hi again," he softly giggled and Shadow glanced up at him while wielding a mug of coffee in his hands.

"Hey, Silv," he greeted the spirit with a small sigh and sipped the coffee carefully, since it was still freshly hot.
"Is he alright?" Silver asked him about Sonic's condition, receiving a simple nod from his vampire best friend.
"How did he even get the idea? I warned him about the berries being poisonous for... certain mobians," Shadow groaned in displeasure and leaning against the backrest he lifted his head and stared up at the ceiling.

"He believed, that he's immune to them, because I told him, that he seems to be an immortal kind of... well, mortal. If it even makes sense," Silver admitted and now realized, that it might have been his own fault.

Shadow moved his head to glance at Silver again, this time with a deep frown on his face.
"Are you sure?" he asked while raising a brow and placing the mug on the coffee table in front of him.
"His aura is a mixture of blue and purple and it's very vital, it has a high vibration! I have never seen such aura before," Silver replied, now with a fascinated smile decorating his muzzle.

"Interesting," Shadow shrugged and crossing his arms he averted his gaze from the spirit.
"Hey, uh, Shad?" Silver carefully called the vampire's name after a few minutes of silence. The vampire hummed in response, giving him a quiet sign to go on and speak.

"I... don't be mad at me, please... but I might have... uh, y-you see..." the spirit got nervous and twiddled with his fingers while looking down at the floor, not knowing how to put this, so Shadow wouldn't get angry at him.

"Jeez, Silver, just spill it already!" Shadow growled impatiently while watching the spirit intensively now and wished to be able to read minds at the moment. The ghost flickered slightly, as he got startled.
"Well, uh.... S-Sonic k-kinda knows about you... b-being a vampire," Silver finally forced the words out of his throat, but felt the next ones getting stuck there.

Shadow stared at him in utter confusion, then his brows met in the middle of his forehead and he gritted his teeth, of course getting upset.
"You told him?" he hissed and restrained himself from doing anything violent.

"I-I had to! T-The midnight you and your mother went out t-to the garden, I m-met Sonic in the hallway a-and... he asked me w-where you two are, h-he was in pain... a-and he questioned it, when I said, t-that you've got some business t-to take care of and-"

"Enough!" Shadow cut him off, hating to listen to the stutters. Standing up he glared at the spirit with a strongly glowing deep crimson irises and was very close to reach his other form.
"He wasn't supposed to find it out! I was going to let him stay until his injuries would heal and then I would let him peacefully leave! This was my plan since the beginning, when I found him in the woods, Silver! Now... he can be dangerous, when he knows. I cannot let him go anymore and this is all on you!" Shadow vented out in anger and letting out a last hiss he sharply turned around and stormed out of the library, heading to one of the spare rooms, since his own bedroom was now provided to the sleeping blue furred hedgehog.

Silver gulped, when he saw his friend getting this mad at him, feeling even more guilty now he sighed and slowly vanished to thin air, deciding to give Shadow some space and wait for him to call him in some day.

The next morning Shadow could be found in the kitchen making pancakes with vanilla extract added into the mix, which surely made such meal more delicious and enjoyable. However, despite how nice the vanilla scent was, the ebony vampire's mood was super low and nothing could lift it up.
