We kissed
Time slipped
Hard edged
Tight lipped
See you
Some time
Ask me if I care

My heart was swirling around and doing backflips. I desperately wanted to hold his hand but wasn't sure if he wanted me to. I bumped our hands together to see if he would take it but he didn't get the hint.
I wanted to do something else but I couldn't think of anything and we were already having such a nice time. We didn't see anyone from school so we didn't have to worry. I don't think they would notice anyway, but they might so we had to be careful.
We had to be back soon so we decided to get their early and avoid the crowd of other kids. Once we got there we have to go our separate ways.
"Are you going to stay for the break?" I asked hopefully.
"No, my dad always makes me come home for Christmas." He looked dismayed.
"Oh, okay. . .well, see you later,". I tried to hide my disappointment.
"Yeah," he took my hand unexpectedly. We were already standing pretty close but he leaned a little closer. I sucked in a breath and gasped a little in surprise when he leaned down and kissed me. It sounds cliché but the kiss was perfect, soft and gentle.
But it was brief. He took a step back, still holding my hand. I was smiling a little too much. He looked concerned but when he saw that I was smiling he smiled to and touched his lips to mine again, quickly and let go of my hand, "see you" he grinned then walked away.
I stood stupidly for a minute, trying to get my brain to move. When it finally did it was confused and excited and relieved. I had been waiting to do that for months.

I walked to the common room and called my parents. Until now I was going to stay here with Ron and Harry (and, recently, Draco) but now there was nothing keeping me here so I might as well go see my parents for Christmas.
The next day I was packed and on the train that would take me home. I sat with Draco. We sat next to each other, close, holding hands. We didn't let go until the train stopped. Draco got out first but before he left he kissed me in the cheek. I blushed, of course.
I found my beaming parents and talked to them on the car ride home. They did the standard parent interview: school work, grades, friends, sports, books, boys. I was very vague about the last one and my dad teased me.
The break was laid back and joyful. I spent a lot of time in my room thinking about Draco. I got a new iPod for Christmas and decided to give my old one to Draco. I also found some more music ever that I thought he would like. My laptop was dusty from not being used so I dusted it off, downloaded some of my favorite tv shows and movies for me to show Draco. I also got a solar charger that I could use to charge my laptop and iPod in the electricity free zone of Hogwarts.
I also have a Record players and a few dozen records that I wanted to bring but it was to heavy.
Two weeks later I bid farewell to my parents and waited in one of the back compartments for Draco. He didn't show. I assumed that he was sitting with his friends or something. I was fine with that, I wasn't jealous or anything near it. . .but I was a little bit disappointed.
The ride was long and when we got back to Hogwarts I went directly to bed. The past three weeks had been so good and I dreaded having to be around my peers again. Harry and Ron were going to be another week, Ron wanted to stay with his dad and Molly was worried about Harry's dreams.
The next day was a Sunday so I waited by the lake, hoping that Draco would show up. It took a while and I went back inside to get a better coat.
When I got back Draco was waiting for me. I smiled and jogged over to him. He greeted me with a quick kiss on the lips which surprised and delighted me.
"I didn't see you on the train?" I mumbled. We were standing close but on the opposite side of the kraken as other people so they couldn't see us.
"Yeah, my dad sent me back a few days early.
