Your eyes whispered, "Have we met?"

Across the room your silhouette

Starts to make its way to me

The playful conversation starts

Counter all your quick remarks

Like passing notes in secrecy

Draco

I walked out of the library just in time to see her turning the corner. I followed her outside. It's freezing! What is she doing?

She led me to the lake and sat down under the tree I had chosen this morning. She opened up her book a continued to read. A watched her from a distance. God she is beautiful. I had realised it long ago. She was the most beautiful creature created. Her brown curls framed her face. Her chin, her elegant cheeks, her soft jaw. Her perfect lips, big but not to big. I smiled. When I looked at her again she was looking at me, scowling. I quickly turned my smile into a sneer.

Her stare was cutting and I almost couldn't look at her. But I walked over to Hermione Granger and looked down at her, trying to think of something nice to say, but not too nice.

"Hey, Granger. Nice work on Crab." She looked at me in mock surprise.

"Did Draco Malfoy, a pureblood, son of Lucius Malfoy, just compliment me, a mudblood." Through the act she pretended to be flattered but she spat out the last word. I shook it off, not going to let her cutting words get to me. I deserved it anyway. She shut her book and stood up. Her slender figure was just about eight inches shorter than me and I could imagine hugging her and resting my chin on the top of her head.

She turned to walk away but spun back around suddenly, "Wait," She said in thought, "I need to ask you something and if you make fun of me I swear to god I will drown you." She scowled at me.

"Uh..Okay...what is it?" I was confused and, honestly, a little bit scared.
