Spencer never really had a childhood, his father absent and his mother a schizophrenic. Rossi and Hotch step in and help him out, something to help him cope. The team step in as his aunts/uncles and are more than happy to help their pretty boy.
Recently, Hotch and Rossi have been having trouble putting both toddlers to bed. Spencer had found out that Garcia was going between Hotch and Rossi's beds until her bed had arrived, which meant that Spencer also wanted to climb into bed with them. So tonight they needed to get Garcia settled into her own bed now and put Spencer back into his.
"Alright kiddos, let's get into something comfy for the day" Rossi says. He pulled some clothes from the cleaning washing pile before bringing it through to them. He changed Spencer first by changing his nappy before putting him into a Spider-Man vest and then a matching Spider-Man jumper and joggers set.

He then gets Penelope changed into a white and pink vest, a pair of grey joggers that had cat faces on the knees and then a oversized pink bunny jumper that he had to roll the sleeves up a little bit.
