Back at the beaver lake, the spot with the dried up water plants had drastically changed because it had now become a bog.
A bog is a wet, muddy ground too soft to support a heavy body.
So if something, say, a deer stepped into a bog so it could get to the other side, the deer would sink and drown in the bog.
And so it was the case with any bog, that anything or anyone tried to walk on a bog, they'd sink and end up drowning.
Unless they knew how to swim, then they could get out safely.
Some birds and frogs came to the small bog that was at the end of the lake near the forest.
Even some fish managed to swim through the water plants and get into the bog.
