These corridors were never ending. Row after row of troops came at us from all angles.

Obi-wan and I were buying time for R2, who was hacking into the system to locate the main control panel of this ship so we can hopefully, find the Master Sith Lord. I'm guessing this Master is who (y/n) was so urgent to get back to. I remembered the fear her face held when I told her that it was 2am earlier on this morning- a very odd reason to be scared but that just unsettles me even more. I don't think I've seen anyone look so scared.

A series of beeps projected out of the communicator I held onto. Translated, R2 said, "The main panel is two floors down- floor 82, at the end of the hallway towards the front of the ship."

"Thank you Artoo," I replied, following Obi-wan who was already busy looking for a lift and I turned around to make sure there were no remaining soldiers trailing behind us.

As we entered the lift, I was happy to see it empty. It gave me a chance to have a little breather and prepare myself for the inevitability of more troops.

Obi-wan pressed the button '82' and I leaned on the railing behind me, resting my head back on the wall, "You seem distracted Anakin," Obi-wan started, looking at me intently.

"Its nothing, Master," I responded. My thoughts betrayed me as they travelled back to (y/n). Even when she blocked me out of her mind, I could still feel her presence, her dark presence, and right now- I felt nothing. It was concerning but I'm sure it is nothing to worry about. She made it abundantly clear last time that she could take care of herself. And besides, she could easily just be at the other end of this massive ship. I'm still confused with this connection we have but I doubt it is that strong that I would be able to feel it if she is on the other side of this ship.

The lift pinged to signal that we arrived on the 82nd floor but the doors didn't budge, "Thats strange," Obi-wan commented, pressing on a different button that should theoretically open the doors, "Get R2 to check it out Anakin," I brought the communicating device to my lips and as I was about to send a message across, the lift suddenly rushed downwards, accelerating at full speed towards the bottom of the ship. Obi-wan and I flew up to the roof and the communicator slipped out of my hand- also being lifted to the ceiling of the lift from the speed we were descending at.

I reached my hand forward, nearly grabbing the device. The rapid rate this elevator was moving at made it extremely difficult to move.

Finally realising that I could've just used the force, I force grabbed the object to my hand. Once it was in my grasp, I very slowly fought against gravitational pull and managed to bring the communicator to the lips again.

"R2! Stop the lift!" I yelled, using as much energy as I could currently muster up. The lift however, continued to plummet down, "R2!" I was starting to feel faint from all the blood rushing up to my head. This time, soon enough, the elevator came to a slow halt. Both Obi-wan and I fell back down, grunting from the impact.

I started to get a splitting headache and rubbed my fingers on my temples to try and ease the pain away.

After Obi-wan found his footing, he tried to pull double doors apart, "A little help here would be nice," he quipped. Rolling my eyes and dusting myself off, I helped Obi-wan pull the doors apart, allowing our escape. The throb in my head only became worse, it was so bad that I held my head in my hands, barrelling over and moaning in agony.
