'Cingulomania' (Latin.) a strong desire to hold a person in your arms
꧁꧂
The second the ship landed in Coruscant, I immediately left to find the nearest qualified medic on this planet. (Y/n) had been laying on my lap unconscious the entire journey back from that ship with Obi-wan having to pilot as I refused to have her leave my hold.
I don't know why I feel so attached to her. She is a stranger that I have known for barely two days, but every time her eyes lingered on mine, every brief touch, every breath shared, my heart skipped a beat. All I want is her, all I need is her, and I don't know why.
"Young Skywalker. The force in good balance, I feel. Your mission successful, has it been?" Master Yoda asked, shortly looking down at the woman in my arms but not asking any further questions.
"I need a medic urgently, Master Yoda," Yoda simply nodded in response, not taking any offence from me not answering his pleasantries.
Two medics pulling a levitating stretch trolley appeared behind Yoda, as if he already knew of my current situation.
I placed (y/n) gently onto the trolley, allowing the medics to drag her across the runway as I closely followed them behind. A small wooden cane stopped me in my tracks, hitting my knee, "Be careful with your emotions you must, Young Skywalker," Yoda warned. I nodded my head at him, assuring him that I understood his words, as I jogged to catch up with (y/n) and the medics that were now ascending the the stairs up to the temple.

A week has past since (y/n) was transported to the hospital. I have been staying by her side the entire time but she still has not woken up.
Occasionally, I'd leave this small, confined room to train with Ahsoka or freshen myself up a little but majority of the time, I was in here. I didn't want to take (y/n) out of my sight so I could be there for her as soon as she finally wakes up.
I was sitting on a small, cushioned chair next to (y/n), who was unconscious and laying on a nursing bed, dressed in the traditional, white hospital dress. The regular sound of the soft beeping from the heart rate monitor circulated around the room.
When she arrived, I told the doctors the condition I found her in and after they examined her, they informed me that she was currently in a coma. They continued to elucidate that the fibres in her brain were damaged from the machine she was previously attached to. That machine was in the process of rewriting and destroying certain areas of her temporal lobe. The damage that was being done to that area of her brain can affect her memory but because Obi-wan and I stopped the process from being entirely completed, there is hope for the majority of her memories not being affected, but only hope.
I continued to sit in a peaceful solitude next to (y/n), praying that she would wake up soon. She looked like an angel. He facial features were all relaxed, not a wrinkle in sight.
It was harmonic.
A gentle knock disturbed the peace and the pleasant sight of Obi-wan took me out of my thoughts, closely behind him however were the same two medics that examined (y/n) earlier on.
"Anakin. I thought it best that we in form you on something," Obi-wan started, looking at the two medics that kept giving each other glances.
The taller, brunette medic cleared his throat, "While we..." The brunette medic began, signalling between him and the other blonde haired woman, also dressed in the medical uniform, "...Were analysing (y/n)'s brain pattern in the information centre, something else caught our attention," The brunette medic whose name tag read as 'Adam' pulled out two folders from behind him to set onto the small coffee table in front of where I was sat.
His colleague, 'Eve', opened both folders to the first page, where two scans of a brain were represented.
"If you take a look at this page, this is your brain. These 'waves' I guess you could call them, around the outside of your brain, is the connection you have to the force," Adam explained, pointing at the yellow hues that outlined the edges of my brain scan, "Now if you look at (y/n)'s, the red areas she has inside her brain are the places that were damaged, and these yellow areas outside her brain is her connection to the force."
Eve started talking, "The readings we received of the connection the both of you have with the force are the identical. Something like this has never happened before, only informed in myths. We have no idea how the bond between the two of you was created but we informed the council as soon as we found out."
"However, the council thought it best that we keep this confidential and between ourselves. We will inform (y/n) of this after she wakes up and is in a decently stable state to hear it," Obi-wan finished with a warm smile.
To say that I was confused would be an understatement. I have no idea on how to feel right now. I didn't even know that this could be possible.
I am stunned.

[sorry for this very short chapter. the names adam and eve are very random and the fact that they are called adam and eve have no significance in this story. next one will start in your pov and please do let me know if this story seems boring and as well if you understood what i meant with the brain readings and stuff. i tried my best to explain it]
