26: full moon with dad

Eli hale, today's the full moon. The day I tell my brothers that I'm a werewolf, that I'm from a world filled with supernaturals. And it's my first full moon with dad! I'm trying to not think so heavily about the whole telling them thing today, I've done that the whole week. Wha- NO! No Eli, no thinking about it, remember? I groaned. This would be easier if I had my headphones, music helps, a lot. "Hay werepuppy" greeted Nat, I turned around. Nat's here? "What you doing here?" I asked Happliy, I threw on a T-shirt, finished getting dressed! "I thought your dad wasn't allowing you over here?" I observed, she's grounded for a month for going to that party, and getting drunk. "Well my dad's busy so Clark convinced him that he could Drop me off to school today, so I'm here" explained Nat, I smiled. Gotta thank him for that. "That's great! I've really missed you" I said, sure it's Just been six days, and I see her at school, but I've missed her. "Same here Eli" she smiled, she pirched herself on my table. "So how long you grounded for?" She asked, I made my bed. "Four weeks, for some reason less than a month" I said, I did drink and stab someone. "Not that surprising, your Dad is a little to.." said Nat, I scoffed, picking up my bag. "Are we Just aknowledging that now?" I asked, Nat Laughed. We talked about it at school the next day. "Eh, I don't bring it up much werepuppy" she said, she hopped up off the table. "You bring it up evey day" I said, she rolled her eyes "It's only been six days, I could bring it up more werepuppy" she smriked, I titled my head Slightly in agreement. "Ya, you could" I agreed, she scoff-chuckled, Closing the door. "Okay, seriously, are you okay for tonight? And after?" Nat checked, I'm telling them after the full moon, part of me thinks they'd want to watch if they knew before. They'd definitely want to. "I think so Nat" I said, I'm scared, but not in the-scared-to-shfit-way but... "I'm.. I'm excited Nat, I-" I said, I heard a yell from down stairs. The door opened "Sorry for listening but.. yes!" Said Dad, he punched his fist in excitement. "it's okay Dad" I smiled, he smiled at us before leaving, closing the door. "I get to shift with my dad Nat, and I want to, not Just for him" I said, I heard another yell. "Sorry!" He apologised, me and Nat laughed. "I can't blame him" I said, he also has a lot higher hearing, must be harder to keep in check. "He's doing it on purpose" said Nat, I shrugged, heading to the door. "Even if he is, I don't care" I smiled, he deserves to hear what I'm saying. "So.. you're going to the caves with your dad?" Nat asked, I put my hand on the handle. "Ya, why?" I asked, she seems off, I didn't realise. "It's nothing" she said, I let go of the handle, moving over to her. "If you want to come I bet we cou-" I started, I didn't really think about that. She shook her head. "No, it's okay, I've Just gotten use to being there and helping you" she said, I put my hand on her shoulder. "you can come if you want to" I said, if she wants, she can. She shrugged my hand off as she shook her head lightly. "Eli, seriously it's okay, I shouldn't even try sneaking out again" she said, I sighed as she moved passed me. "you sure Nat?" I asked, she opened the door. "I am, enjoy the time with your dad" she said, she grabbed my wrist. "Now come on, let's go eat" she said, she dragged me with her.

We came down stairs and dad hugged me. "Dad's Just being clingy" I said, he has been since the party, but I can't blame him. "Sorry, I Just.." he said, he let go of me. "Dad it's okay, I like it" I said, we all sat down to eat. "Why does Eli only have four weeks of grounded and I have a month and a week?" Asked Jonathan, I'm honestly confused about that too. "Well, Eli took care off you when you were drunk" started Dad, not that much.. "and Eli didn't get drunk" said Lois, but I did drink. "And that all factored in to four weeks" ended Mum, but I stabbed Sarah. Jordan stared at them. "Maybe I should have more, I didn't spend my whole time lo-" I started, I should get worse than Jonathan. "No" said everyone except Jordan and me, all four of them? "Eli you did take care of me a lot" Jonathan reminded, I made a few noises. Not much.. "You did Eli, you looked after him for over half the party, and kept your eye on him for most" told Nat, Jonathan Nodded. "I may Not remember much, but I know you were there for me" he said, he looked down, and I saw he was red. "And sorry for the __" he mumbled, I did not hear that. I heard Jordan laugh. "You'll need to say it louder for him to hear it~" sung Jordan, our parents gave him a look. "Fine! I'm sorry for clinging to you" he apologised, he covered his face. "It's okay Jonathan, it's Just good to know I'm not the only clingy one in the family, for you it Just comes out when you're drunk" I said, everyone laughed, Jonathan put his head in his hands. "Don't like people bringing up things you don't want being brought up?" I asked, I didn't do it for that reason but.. why not mention it? "What?" He asked, he looked at me. "Nothing clingy drunk, nothing" I smiled, Jordan and Nat laughed, I smiled and our parents didn't have a reaction. He groaned.
