Eli hale, it's been a week. A week of being stuck in the hospital. And we are finally returning home! I am free! Freeeeee! free from the hellish hospital! Okay it wasn't that bad, but I've always hated places like that, but we've left now, we're going home, to the farm. "I've missed it here" I breathed, we took a car back, Lois driving, me and dad in the back. The boys and Nat were at school, her dad had found a way to convince her to leave and go back to school, his main argument was that I was awake now, and that won. "I never thought you'd like the farm, let alone the lifestyle" Dad admitted, his arm was around me, and I was next to him, he hasn't left my side this whole time. "You're one to talk" I smriked, dad rolled his eyes with a smile. "What is that about anyway? You always seem to find it funny that he's a farm boy" asked, Lois, I chuckled, and then laughed, my dad went a little pink. "I'll explain it later" he said, he rubbed the back of his neck with a light chuckle. Lois glanced at him from the veiw mirror "what are you hiding from me Smallville?" She asked, I could tell that she was amused. "Ummm... something that's kinda embarrassing for me now" he admitted, Lois chuckled lightly. "I can tell that Clark" she said, it was very obvious. "Ya... I Know" he sighed, he stopped rubbing his neck. "I see you've developed a nerv-embarss tick" I observed, he's done that anytime he seems nervous or embarrassed. "I've always done it" he said, he shrugged. "Well- in this life anyway" he added, he pulled his arm more around me. "So I'm guessing the embarrassing thing has to do with a farm" she Guessed, dad went red, and I laughed. "Lois, please stop trying to figure it out, I promise I will tell you, later today" he begged, Mum Just laughed. "Okay, I'll stop, for now" she smirked, Dad let a breath out. "How did you ever hide being superman?" I asked, I can read every one of his emotions Just looking at him! I'm not even using any of my heighten senses. "Because people are stupid" Mum answered, I smirked, rolling my eyes "I know that" I said, people are idiots. I heard dad sigh."Lois, people aren't idiots, and it's not just that" corrected dad, it isn't Just that, because people are idiots. "even Jonathan and Jordan didn't recognise me" he reminded, I frowned, they didn't, did they. "I forgot that" I mumbled, how did they not recognise our dad? "Thanks mum" I said, she understo- I went red, hiding my face against my dad. "Sorry" I mumbled, it was muffled by his clothes. "Your brothers didn't think I could be Superman" he added, I pouted, crossing my arms. "that doesn't make any sense!" I yelled, I pouted more. dad chuckled and ruffled my hair. "You're adorable" he said, I smiled, back before everything, I would of hated that, him calling me adorable, but now... I couldn't care less. "It's different in this world Eli" Dad said, but how- I sighed. "Mum, dad's giving me unconplete answers" I wined, they both chuckled, Dad ruffling my hair. "Give me a none complicated one please" I asked, she chuckled a little more. "it's because People Don't believe a clumsy farmer could be superman" said Lois, I sat up.
