RASHAAD

I smiled as Reign ran into my arms. I asked to pick her up from school and have a Daddy-Daughter weekend with her. Michiko has been distance since the appointment on Wednesday. Joy called to ask me what's going on when she hadn't really been talking. I explain the session was a lot so Joy was talking her for a spa weekend. I convinced her to let me keep Reign at my parents house. I also sent Gia and two of her cousins on a spa weekend at a different spa. All of them left this morning.

I kissed Reign's head before putting her on the car in her booster seat. We were headed to Vin and Lia's place for a movie/pizza night. I smiled listening to Reign tell me about her day and all the fun she had at school. She was even more excited once I told her it was me and her for the rest of the weekend. We pulled up to Vin's place and she jumped out seeing Lia come outside with Von. I smiled until my phone started to ring. I saw it was Gia and sighed before answering.

"Hey baby, you good?"

"Baby" she wined "They don't have the bottle of water I drink and they can't have someone go get it. Then, then the spa package I wanted can't be done because the mood pool hasn't been cleaned. Oh and! And! The room is so freaking small!"

"Baby calm down" I sighed "I know it's not perfect but you can still have fun"

"NO! I want to go home!"

I sighed as she began to cry.

"Baby please just calm down" I sighed "Listen I can book reservations somewhere else. Joy went to a spa this weekend too. I can see if that place has a spot OR if she knows of a different place"

"Can't you just come get me" she wined again

"Baby I got Reign this weekend"

"Okay?"

"Reign is expecting a weekend of just us. I can't take back that promise baby. I can get you a new reservation somewhere or I can send someone to get you bu----"

"Why can't you just come?"

"Gia come on! I just explained"

"You know what" I could hear her getting angry as she got loud "Fuck it! I can figure it out myself! You are supposed to be my husband and have my back! All you had to do was come get me! I am literally stressed out and having the worst time of my life! The least you could do is just come get me"

"I just got Reign Gia! You're not being reasonable. What am I supposed to tell her?"

"She can come with you!"

"You know she'll be upset"

"She'll get over it! I'm your wife Rashaad"

"And she's my daughter! Gia look" i sighed "I'll come get you just... can't you give me until in the morning"

"Whatever"

Before I could say anything else she hung up. I hung my head not knowing what to do. I decided to wait until after Reign fell asleep to go pick up Gia. She'd be okay until tonight and I didn't want to ruin Reign's weekend because Gia was being extra. I got out the car and headed inside only to find Lia cooking alone.

"Where's my kid and yours?"

"Vin took her to the backyard to play on the sing set he impulsively bought"

"A swing set?"

"Like Vonnie is going to jump on it tomorrow" she shook her head "What was wrong?"

"Man Gia ass being aggy" I sighed "I treated her, her cousin, and her aunt to a spa day. I wanted to thank them for being there for her and I wanted her to just chill. This place specializes in prenatal servicdes. She mad abou tthe room being small and them telling her she can't have certain services... and something about fucking water"
