Jungkook's POV

This vacation is long overdue. He and his friends had been planning this for more than a year now, but because of their busy schedule, they never got a chance. Certain circumstances had made them decide to push through with this. First, the time for him to fulfill his duty by serving his country is about to come. Then there's their friend Min, who is just recovering from a breakup. They all felt like they needed this holiday. His manager, although reluctantly, finally agreed to let him travel alone too. This was only because they were traveling to a private island resort. It was said to be an 'exclusive and a perfect getaway' for people who don't want their faces plastered on social media whenever they go out.

He is one of those people whose face keeps on appearing somewhere the minute he does something outside his showbiz life. He knows it comes with his job, but there are times that he just wants to do what men his age do, to have fun without having to be judged by anyone. That is what the island Paradise of Solitude, is said to offer.

" Whoa, look at that view." Luke said as the airplane they were on hovered above the island they were headed to. They had to do a transfer from the country's main city where their flight landed. Then, they took a chartered flight where they  were to land on a bigger island before they had to take a short boat ride that took them to the private resort. The pilot was showing them the incredible scenery which featured a stretch of white sand, clear blue water, and the resort itself. Villas that go through the stretch of the sea, cabins that were strategically laid out around swimming pools, trees, and plants brought more color to the place. There's no denying that it looks like a paradise indeed.

"I heard they invited a couple of well-known deejays to spin at their own club." Joey starts naming them and everyone is impressed.

There are four of them traveling together and their friendship goes back to junior high. Luke's family lived in Australia until his parents decided to move back to his home country. He didn't like the move at first because he left  his childhood friends behind. It didn't take long before he started getting new ones, he has that kind of personality.  Their friend Joey relocated from another country too. They moved because his father got transferred to Seoul. Luke befriended Joey when they sat next to each other in class. The latter was struggling with the language and Luke offered to help him. An aisle across from them sat Jungkook and Min. That's how their friendship started.

Their group became popular in school, especially among the girls. They became more famous after Jungkook's video, where he was singing and dancing at their school's talent show, trended online. Music label companies contacted and invited him to train with them. With his parent's help and support, he signed up with the record label he is still with today. Their decision paid off because he rose up to being one of the most popular singers in the country, later on becoming global. He expanded from singing to modelling, movies, and tv dramas.

Joey and Min got scouted as models after they went with Jungkook one time during his music video shoot. They wanted Luke too, but he declined because his interest was behind the camera. He wanted to become a professional photographer, which came true later on. He got to work overseas and be a part of a team that worked for various fashion shows and magazines.

"We're going for our extreme adventure later, right? I can't wait to try cliff diving." Jungkook said as the airplane hovered around a picturesque waterfall. The pilot mentioned that it'll be where some of the extreme water activities were done.

"We will all do it together. All for one and one for all, even if I'm scared of heights." Min said.

"We're going to have fun won't we, Min-ah?" Jungkook asked their friend. He was still concerned for his friend who broke up with his long-time girlfriend after he caught her cheating on him. It affected him really bad, which he tried to hide from everyone. His weight loss and constant refusal of projects gave him away. The rest of his friends showed him a lot of support until he was back on his feet again.
